We stayed for one night on our road trip back home and this place a nice, stress free stop. It was clean, easy to find, as described and in a quiet little neighborhood. Bonus- well stocked coffee for this tired mama.

Thank you for staying with us and leaving our home in excellent condition. I am so glad you enjoyed your stay. Come back anytime!
The house was very nice an super clean. Was nice to have accommodations so close to family to celebrate the Easter Weekend. We will certainly be renting again in the future.
It was such a great alternative to staying in a hotel room after the wedding. We were at the venue kind of late and getting the code to the door before hand made getting to the house late a breeze. Great accommodations!
I wish the cabinets & refrigerator was empty even though they were thinking others and better kitchen cook where other then that it was lovely. Thanks enjoyed it.
This host is incredible. So helpful. This house is exactly as presented and priced very well. It’s an older one level ranch style as are most of the homes in area. Our daughter and family live on same street so convenience is huge plus. Close to university and the McKenzie Elementary, Middle and High Schools. Walking ok everywhere and close enough to town square if you’re looking to get in your steps. House itself has been cleaned up and painted cutely. Nice bedding in each bedroom. Sparse furniture which is fine. Remodeled bath. Small but complete. Nice fluffy towels. Quiet neighborhood. My favorite with these hosts is their “coffee bar” setup. Sweet
My son and I needed a place to stay for just one night. Everything was very clean and easy. The information sent by email and displayed on the fridge was very helpful. Wish the floors weren’t so creaky to walk on, but it is an older home. The house met our needs quite nicely.

Bedrooms 3 of them was just perfect for my needs. All areas were clean and tidy. Bathroom had been refurbished and was immaculate. If i had one complaint it would be the mattresses. I like a goldilocks approach, in this case 2 were too soft only 1 was ok. Maybe a refresh there. We cooked a lot perhaps some more cooking utensils. Once i seasoned the pans they worked. The neighborhood was quiet, we enjoyed sitting out in driveway, thanks for having fire pit.
Cassie’s house was perfect for us (family of 5 adults)! We arrived late at night and she had left us the code (which worked the first time) and the light on, and we walked in to the ice cold AC and spotless house and felt right at home. The beds were all comfortable and the bedding was the perfect weight for a great night’s sleep. The bathroom had plenty of hot water for showers and the kitchen had a toaster for bagels, coffee maker that could make a pot or use K-cups for individual mugs of coffee. Everything was new and clean and the decor is really cute. The neighborhood was peaceful and safe. 10/10 would recommend! Thank you!

Needs a good cleaning and some fixing
Location was great for what I needed. House needs a good cleaning. Very dusty, dirty bathroom, many dishes had to be washed before use and the vent fan in the kitchen was full of grease and dirty. Would have been nice to have a large pot when we cooked, hard to boil potatoes in 2 small pans. Beds were platform beds, no box springs very uncomfortable. Floors were creaking like they had humidity issues compared to the normal old age sound. Living room carpet was curled up in a couple of spots and my elderly mother tripped on it a few times. Screen door inside handle was broken. Also be aware that if you’re staying for more than 2 days to buy your own toilet paper and paper towels. Not much provided. I honestly can’t say that I would stay here again especially when I’m being charged a cleaning fee and the place wasn’t very clean.

We are sorry you did not enjoy your stay. You are our first guest who has not felt comfortable with either our beds or the cleaning. Please see our other reviews.
We do provide our contact information and also message all our guests to call or text us if they need anything whatsoever as we are only a few minutes away. You did not contact us during your stay or request any special accommodations in advance. Extra rolls of toilet paper, paper towels, napkins are all on site and easily accessible. If you had difficulty locating them, a simple text or phone call would have solved your dilemma. Preferences for bedding styles vary with individual sleepers. We are sorry that our beds were not to your liking, but they are not an issue for our many other guests.
The house was built in 1961 and does have original hardwood floors that can creak like any other. Blaming such sounds on humidity issues though is unsubstantiated and a rather arbitrary accusation.
Our cleaning staff routinely ensure the house is dusted thoroughly, and that the bathroom is clean and sanitary. We are sorry if it did not meet your expectations.
We will check that the filter above the stove gets cleaned regularly as well as that has not been a checklist item. However, if previous guests placed dishes in the cabinet that were not cleaned to our standards or yours, our cleaners would not have checked the dishes already stored there.
There is no carpet anywhere in the house. There is an area rug in the living room, which of course means that there are edges and corners in places on the floor. Most people are simply mindful of these transitions and take necessary precautions when walking.
The inside latch of the security storm door is indeed broken, but this does not negate its function or trap anyone inside. Push on the door and it opens. The interior deadbolt latch on the security door functions properly for any guest who desires additional security when inside the house.
We make no apologies for charging a cleaning fee. It is a near universal standard practice and allows us to reward our cleaners for providing excellent service to us as hosts and to our many guests who approve of their hard work in helping to make their stay comfortable and enjoyable.
We love renting this house everytime we come down to McKenzie. Cute and cozy home. The host are so nice and easy to get in contact with. Will definitely be renting again!
This was a great place st stay with my family. Beds were very comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked with all the pots, pans utensils to make meals and was super convenient to Bethel University. Hist was exceptional to communicate with. We really enjoyed our stay!!
