The condo was clean, spacious, and convenient for a week of snowboarding at Winter Park! The hosts were gracious and responded quickly. The bus across the street or a 10 minute walk to the slopes was perfect for location.
This is a wonderful condo for access to skiing at Winter Park. The condo has everything you need for a comfortable ski week— washer/dryer, a great kitchen, and lots & lots of hooks! Everyone can hang their gear & have it dry for the next day! Even ski boot warmers/dryers are provided! Location is great— right across from the bus stop, and the stop for Winter Park is only a 3 minute ride away. Lisa was an excellent host. Highly recommend!
We really enjoyed our stay in this condo! The location was perfect! The bus stop for skiing was right across the street - making it so quick and easy to get to the gondola. Everything was so clean- and the condo had everything we needed. We did not have to contact the hosts during our stay as they were great about providing all of the information we could have needed while there. It was a great ski vacation! Thanks for sharing your home with us!
We stayed at this property for 4 nights and we loved it! We had two teens who each had their own bed. The view was beautiful off the balcony. Great location! Provided all the necessary essentials plus more. Extremely clean. Highly recommend this property.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Winter Park. Easy access to mtn with free bus stop across the street and nice to have a nice saloon( dinner) avaiable next door to condo complex. Owners were very responsive as well
Thanks for a nice place to stay while skiing Winter Park Resirt
Our stay was short but the condo was perfect. It was clean, comfortable and had all the amenities we needed. The location, next to the shuttle, couldn’t have been better. We will definitely stay here again the next time we are in Winter Park.
We’re only had two nights, but it was perfect for what we needed. Plenty of space, nicely furnished and comfy beds. Great location to slopes and highway. Highly recommend.
Very well maintained property, with all the necessities! Ski shuttle was convenient, although walkable to gondola, even in ski boots. Hot tub just downstairs is a plus, and it's enclosed, so no freezing yourself. Plenty of parking right outside the condo, as well. Overall, a great stay!
Nice quiet location across from the bus stop. Good parking, well heated, and everything you need in the kitchen. Winter Park Shuttle is a little unpredictable but the extra amenities make it worth the wait
Very comfortable condo, superb location for Winter Park skiing. Plenty of room for the 3 of us. Can’t say enough good things about the communication and recommendations from Lisa and Kevin. Hope to return!
I have stayed here 3 years 9 in a row. I love the close proximity to the Winter Park Mountain and that there is a bus that picks up right in front of the unit. Always very clean and mattress is very comfy.
This location was a great place to stay for our trip to Winter Park. It’s right next to a bus stop, above a hot tub/sauna, next to a rental shop and restaurant/bar, and the first unit you can access in the building (which means less stairs in ski boots). It’s a bit of a walk to the Gondola but definitely do-able if the bus is late for one reason or another.
The beds were comfortable (even the Murphy which is rare) and the unit was stocked with everything we needed and more such as a boot dryer and a humidifier. Additionally, the host was easy to contact and extremely responsive whenever we needed anything. Highly recommend staying here if you want to be near Winter Park but not in the Village!
My sister and I had a great ski week and enjoyed our stay. Home is thoughtfully furnished with all you’ll need. Murphy bed was great (as I’m usually the one on a fold out sofa with a bar sticking in my back! - not the case here ;) Some small housekeeping issues that I’ll let the owners know about. If you like to sleep late the building has wood walkways outside so be aware ski boots in the early a.m. are loud! But we were there for it! Very responsive and will check to see when the deposit comes back. I was nervous about that as it’s more than I’ve had to deposit on other properties.
Thanks for a good stay!

Daniel, Thank you so much for your helpful feedback. I was sad and surprised to hear that the housekeeping in the community hot tub area was disappointing. That is not typical, and I have shared your comments with our HOA management team. You bring up a very valid point about the "ski boot parade" on a great skiing day. It's true that many folks like to hop out in that powder pretty early around here! Hopefully, that wake up call was soon overshadowed by the awesome skiing we have in Winter Park! We'd love to have you back the next time you're in town.
Great location. Nice scenic drive from the Denver Airport. Fraser river right outside (nice view from patio or while washing dishes) and Fraser walking trail within walking distance. Very comfortable furniture, nice neighbors and a great place to relax at night after alot of adventure during the day. Enjoyed having a washer and dryer in the unit. Very peaceful at night. Unfortunately, they were replacing the hot tub right under our unit during our stay so it was very noisy during the day for the better part of our stay but this would not be an on-going issue. We really appreciated the binder with suggestions for dining and hikes. The owners were also very helpful and quick to respond. Enjoyed the hike to Adams Falls outside of Grand Lake. About 45 minutes to Rocky Mountain National Park. Be sure to look into the timed passes. We also enjoyed Rockies Restaurant in Grand Lake, the historic Rapid Lodge in Grand Lake for a nice dinner, and just exploring the area. So much to do and see. We hope to make it back to Colorado someday to see more of the area.

We are so glad that you enjoyed your week at our place! I am so very sorry that the hot tub replacement disturbed your stay, and truly wish that you had let us know about the inconvenience as soon as it began. That way, we could have worked with you to find a more peaceful accommodation during those 3 days of installation. Unfortunately, letting us know about this as you prepared to check out on your last day, gave us no opportunity to help you. The good news is that we now have a FABULOUS new hot tub for future stays! Please come back and see us again! Lisa and Kevin
Good location; unit itself is great location in building. Well stocked kitchen. Used the hot tub everyday. We enjoyed our stay. It was great for our ski trip.
For the most part the building was very quiet and hardly heard or saw anyone else. However, the unit above us had a dog that barked a lot, which we heard every evening while hanging out. That was a negative.
Nothing to do with the unit, but I find the shuttle service in WP confusing. The Old Town shuttle is the one you want but it doesn’t operate everyday. A different shuttle picks up at same location but drops you off past the gondola…making you walk half the distance as walking from the unit anyway. The Old Town shuttle drops you off in the drop off circle right by the gondola base.
One previous review stated they skied down the road from Turnpike run. I personally don’t know how that is possible.
Perfect location with so much personal touch that makes you feel at home
We just spend a week in WP for U16 JC races and having stay at this unit was the perfect location for us. Short 8-10 min walk to The Gondola, or 2 min ride on shuttle bus that stops right in front of the condo. Lisa was very helpful guiding us which line we need to take to get to race venue.
Condo is very well set for family of 3-4 with fully equipped kitchen. Plenty cookware and small appliances, quality glass and silverware that makes you feel you are at your own kitchen. Though small things like Kroger reusable grocery bags, Safeway membership cards, pair of hand warmers, sandwich plastic bags were very helpful and very thoughtful. We were lucky with weather all week long, so every morning we can overlook at the Meadows and Lower Hughes, view from kitchen window overlooks some nice pine trees and creek that was so peaceful. I think best thing was communication with Lisa. She was answering every single questions we have in matter of minutes. That itself made our days easier with the crazy racing schedule. Last but not least, Adolfs bar very next door provided very ambient atmosphere for happy hours after hards day of racing, away from main street and tourists. Definitely looking for renting this property again next year.
My family showed up and they thought the location was amazing, super easy to venue at base of mountain, rode back and forth all day long. The arrival was well organized and my daughter said owners put a lot of work into there organizing of there property to feel comfortable and knowledgeable of the condo and the area. She loved the bedroom, super cozy bed and my husband and son were very happy sleeping on the pull out and Murphy bed. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking and enjoyed the space in entry for gear ect. And bonus of the being on on the ground level. They soaked in the river after races, Great family condo, and would book again, except Nationals move to new state.
Everything listed in the description was very accurate. Communication with the owner and instructions about how to get in the condo was very easy. Owner informed us they were available if needed. Condo was cozy, very well supplied, and beautiful. Owner provides guests with a welcome book that really came in handy, since it was our first time to the area. Location was perfect…not completely secluded but away from downtown area, which we liked. Even though you’re in a condo, you still have plenty of privacy and everyone around was hospitable. They had construction going on across the parking lot, which we were a little worried about the noise bothering us. However, you couldn’t hear it at all. Another thing we really liked is that it is on the 1st floor. We have small children, 1 and 4 years, and we try to avoid stairs when possible. This condo was beyond amazing, beautiful, peaceful and views were great. We will definitely be back for another visit.
Nice location close to the resort amenities, not so close to downtown.
The location is great for access to Winter Park Resort, you can access downtown Winter Park by driving or via the Fraser River Trail but it is not so close. We knew this, no fault on the property. Fraser River is right out the door, easy access to hiking and biking summer fun.

About the host
Hosted by Lisa Hughes
We are empty-nesters who raised a family of skiers. As a young family, we treasured our ski vacations and made incredible memories. We love the idea that when we can't be here, another family can use our home and make their own memories. Enjoy! Lisa and Kevin
Why they chose this property
It's walkable to all the action of the ski resort, but it feels much more private and home-like instead of feeling like a hotel in a congested area. The view off the back deck is beautiful!
