Newly Remodeled in Jan 2020! This home boast new kitchen, hardwood floors, new furniture, flat screen smart TV, fireplace tv stand, washer and dryer. Large front porch with ceiling fans, grill, picnic table, 2 rockers and a swing. Placed here in 1960's and bought by current owners family in 1972, this home has a fantastic proximity to the beach. Large magnolia trees and sounds of waves crashing should make you feel relaxed. Ramp up to the front porch so there are not steps to enter the home. Private parking and room for a small boat or jet ski so you can bring your toys as well. You can walk or bicycle to shopping and restraunts. Come see what Destin has to offer!

Family Beach Vacation

Property is in excellent location and very near the beach. Security motion detector light and cameras were nice touches. Would have wished the main front door had some sort of blind on it, as if anyone walked up they could look right in. Overall, very nice house!

Doors and windows

It was a great place, but the doors and windows were not great, literally every animal in Florida crawled under the doors, but I do that for a living so if you need new windows and doors I can fix them. There’s no central air but it wasn’t a problem, we stayed comfortable the whole time with the ac that was provided, but the gap under the doors drove me crazy, biggest bugs I’ve ever seen came thru them lol

Best kept secret in Dustin

Amazing vacation spot. Only a few Steps to the beach. Cathy is a great host and provides everything you need to relax on the beach. House is exactly as expected for a traditional beach cottage. Extremely clean! Perfect for a nice get away. We will be booking this again as an annual family vacation spot.

Spring Break Trip

This home was just as the listing stated. Cathy was wonderful, very responsive to my emails and even answered a phone call when I had a question at check in! The home is exceptionally clean and so many extras were provided (shampoo, conditioner Qtips laundry soap). There were beach chairs, towels, boogie boards and a wagon to get it all to the beach. The walkway to the beach is just 1 house away--very convenient! If you are considering a stay at this location, I would absolutely recommend!!

Beach Vibes

We had a fabulous stay! The cottage was sweet and had everything we needed and more. We loved how close it was to things we needed: quick walk to the beach, to a pharmacy, and to Skippers Seafood Market. Grocery was under a 3 minute drive also. The host was quick to respond when needed. We have shared the property info with friends already. All in all, we had a relaxing and much needed getaway!

This is a very unique property. Owners have owned since 1963 and has only had 2 owners ever. Newly remodeled leaving the vintage feel this home has always had. Used as a family retreat for 55 years now on the market for guest to enjoy.

What makes this property unique

Front Porch spanning the length of the home. Rustic feel single story home with a porch swing 2 rocking chairs and a pic nic table to spend your days outside enjoying the sounds. Front yard can be used to play games or sit out back and feel like your taken back to the good old days. If you do not want the high rise condo feel then this property is great for you and your family. Parking for 3 cars or bring your jet ski. Magnolia Trees/ Palm trees/ sea oats make up your landscaping. Walk a short walk to the most beautiful beaches white sand and emerald green waters. What more can you ask for?
