Family Friendly Gite Nr Sarlat With Beautiful Views Of The Dordogne Countryside

Recently built two bedroom gite set in the beautiful Dordogne countryside sleeps four adults within a double room and twin room, but additional beds/cots can be added on request for additional occupants up to a total of 6.

Fully equiped modern kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, coffee machine, cooker and good sized fridge-freezer allows you to prepare lovely meals to eat on your private terrace or at the large dining room table or prepare a picnic to enjoy on a day out at one of the numerous attractions in the area. A washing machine is available within the spacious bathroom which includes a large walk-in shower. All bed linen, towels and final cleaning are included at no additional cost.

Amazing views of the Dordogne countryside will greet you as you wake up each day and access the terrace directly from your bedroom. You can relax in the peaceful, private surroundings or enjoy being more active at the lake in Tamnies, only 5 minutes away.

In a very tranquil setting, but within only 20 minutes drive to the medieval town of Sarlat, the amazing prehistoric caves at Les Eyzies de Tayac and the cave paintings at the famous Lascaux in Montignac. The rivers of the Vezere and Dordogne are both close by for canoeing and visiting numerous Chateaus, gardens and activity places for the children.

A wonderful place in an impressive Landscape

Very warm and helpful hosts opened their little paradise for us. The house itself had let all our wishes come true, phantastic is the view into a wide, wide horizon. Additional to the pictures of some years ago the wooden "open roof" now is a wonderful green cooling sunshield - the best place to be. The surrounding is the most impressive place for entering into prehistoric mankind. Fine restaurants and nice wines from Bergerac invite you to enjoy life.

Wir haben als Paar das Haus bewohnt. Perfekt dafür geeignet. Zweckmässig eingerichtet, alle notwendigen Einrichtungen vorhanden. Sauber. Nespressomaschine. Gutes Internet. Gute Betten. Grandiose Aussicht. Die Eigenbeschreibung "Abseits von allem aber alles in erreichbarer Nähe" stimmt. Die Dordogne mit einer Vielzahl von Ausflugszielen in Reichweite innerhalb 30 Minuten bis 1 Stunde Fahrt. Auto auf jeden Fall erforderlich, das erste gute Restaurant aber nach 10 Minuten Fahrt erreichbar. Persönliches check in durch Rosemary, ihren Hunden und den Hühnern, die aber auch die Eierversorgung sicherstellen. Gerne wieder.

Notre séjour a été parfait dans ce gîte idéalement situé en pleine nature.Le gîte est très très bien entretenu et bénéficie de tout l'équipement nécessaire. Rosemary et Mark sont aux petits soins pour rendre ce séjour parfait.Une mention spéciale pour notre poupoule adorée qui ne manquait pas de nous rendre visite régulièrement ;)

Maison super équipée avec magnifique vue sur la campagne. Petite piscine idéale pour se détendre (un peu juste pour des enfants de moins de 10 ans) Située à 20 min de Sarlat et +/- le même temps pour d'autres lieux touristiques, l'emplacement est idéal pour se reposer et visiter la région sans faire trop de route. Les propriétaires sont super accueillants, disponibles et très discrets à la fois. Merci à eux !

Nous avons passé d'excellentes vacances dans le gite de Rosemary et sa famille. Tout d'abord, la maison est d'une propreté exceptionnelle. Les prestations sont dignes d'un grand hôtel. Tout est fourni et en plus, les attentions supplémentaires (Rosé, boite de gâteaux, plus les tomates du jardin) sont très appréciées. La famille est très discrète tout en étant aux petits soins. La région est magnifique, tout est a proximité, même si la maison est en pleine campagne. Un séjour parfait et une location à recommander.

Ce gîte est d'une propreté impeccable, il est très confortable. Nous avons pu profiter de la piscine hors sol, du grand jardin. Les propriétaires sont très accueillants et présents quand on a besoin de quelque chose. Je recommande ce gîte, tout y est!

Le lieu est exceptionnel ! Les propriétaires sont très gentils, l'accueil est top, le gîte n'a que des atouts (lieu tranquille, vue dégagée sur la nature, l'intérieur décoré avec beaucoup de goût, l'extérieur très beau, service généreux - produits maison comme linge, etc inclus -...), on est situé à 10km de Sarlat et de nombreux lieux de visites. Je recommande à 200% pour déconnecter, se ressourcer et profiter pleinement de ses vacances! si on revient dans la région , notre lieu de résidence est déjà tout trouvé ! Famille Soulisse (août 2018)

Le bonheur est dans le pré

Le gîte est dans un pre où courent les lapins. C'est une maison simple d'aspect mais très fonctionnelle, bien équipée, lumineuse et décorée avec goût. Les propriétaires sont très aimables et nous avons été accueillis avec plein de délicates attentions. L'emplacement est idéal pour visiter le Périgord Noir et la proximité d'un étang pour se baigner (drapeau bleu) est un plus avec de jeunes enfants.
