The guest suite is located off of the main house, accessible through a private, separate entrance. It features a bedroom, bathroom, and a living room with an adjoining kitchenette. All areas are private and not shared with the main house.
The bathroom includes a large soaking tub with complimentary toiletries and bath products. While there is currently no shower available, many guests have found the bath time to be a relaxing part of their stay.
The living room includes our wood burning fireplace, 32" flat screen Roku TV/DVD player, a small dining area for two, and an adjoining kitchenette. Wood and fire-starter is provided, with more available for purchase if needed. The living room also features our additional sofa bed, a smaller twin measuring 72" x 34" x 5" (see photos).
The kitchenette is equipped with a sink, mini-fridge with freezer compartment, 2 burner stove top, microwave, and a large countertop toaster oven, along with pots, pans, and other basic kitchenware. Additionally, the bedroom has a fully-stocked coffee and tea station.
Out on the terrace you'll find an additional dining table, a grill for use in the warmer months as well as a year-round smokeless fire pit for outdoor fires. The fire pit can also be used for cooking, with an adjustable cast-iron skillet that can sit over the fire.
Bringing pets:
We happily welcome a pet - we ask that any pet be declared at the time of booking as we do charge a pet fee of $15/night. Dogs must be leashed when near the house and crated if left alone in the space for any length of time. Unfortunately, service animals cannot be left alone in the space, regardless if crated.
Guest Access
Guests are welcome to take advantage of our self-check in process - which includes a photo slideshow of how to access the space and thorough written instructions.
We are also available anytime in person or over the phone to help guests who are having trouble finding our place or who may need assistance.
Other notes:
> For those arriving between November and March - a vehicle with AWD/4x4 or snow tires is required in order to get up the driveway in the winter weather.
> There is no air-conditioning, however the space remains about 10-15 degrees cooler during the summer months due to it's location.
> Laundry is available at the main house once per week for those staying 7 nights or longer.
> Guests are not permitted to receive mail or packages at this address, regardless of length of stay.
