This is a perfect family and friends style house to make long lasting memories. Lot's of room for the entire family or group of friends....a private fenced in back yard with its mature landscaping. One level home and master bath is ADA accessible. A large sun room that opens up to a patio and gas grill. Although it would be so easy to lounge and read a good book or catch up on your favorite Netflix binge on the big screen TV........not so fast! You are 5 minutes to the best beaches in Charleston, 14 minutes to charming downtown and how about lunch on beautiful Shem Creek watching the shrimp boats bring in their catch while the dolphins wait for their share.

Ok, almost a beach cottage:) As close as you can get to Isle of Palms without being on Island. Come discover this beachy decorated one level home in quiet neighborhood . Not only is the beach only minutes away but you are surrounded by over 20 of the best restaurants, boutique shopping, breakfast places, movie theaters and more.

The master has a king and other bedrooms have a queen and one large family size bedroom holds a queen and trundle bed...

Well stocked home, we have tried to think of everything you might need to make your stay comfortable. Priced less than 2 hotel rooms across the street...Easily sleeps 7 and we love dog's so just ask.

We have high speed internet and smart TV - no cable....your on vacation:)

I love this neighborhood and want everyone who visits this homes to have the best experience. We really try to make each visit the best and the homes as clean and comfortable as possible for our fun funky little neighborhood. We call them "Almost Beach Houses" because they are all cottage style homes and the closest neighborhood to beaches on Mount Pleasant side of Isle of Palms.

Great Stay and Wonderful Hostess

Without a doubt, this is the best experience we have had with a rental, all due to the great communication and accommodating nature of the hostess. A special touch was the sand bucket filled with sweet and salty treats. The house is in a great location, with quick access to the IOP and within 5 minutes of grocery stores, shopping ,and restaurants. The neighborhood is very quiet and well established. The home was squeaky clean and well stocked. We would stay here again.

Very comfortable

The property is conveniently located near many options and minutes to the beach. Home is very clean and has many amenities including a bucket full of salty with sweet treats and Keurig with coffee. How can you not feel like you are at home? We slept well as bed was comfortable. Beach chairs and towels for the beach were available. Owner has thought about any need that may come up and has stocked the property well. Our pups had a fenced in yard which is very nice. Thank you for allowing us to stay at your nice property!

Love Mt. Pleasant

House was even better than described…. First of all we were extremely impressed with the cleanliness. In addition, the listing was very well equipped. Sufficient starter items PLUS a fun pail of snacks and treats! Lots of beach towels and comfortable sand chairs for our trip over to Sullivan’s Island……which by the way, is an easy 7 minutes away. The house is close to all sorts of shopping and restaurants. We really enjoyed our visit to Boone Hall Plantation and Gardens …only a few minutes drive from the house. “Thank you” to our hosts for a great stay.

Wonderful location. House was very clean and comfortable. Our dog loved the fenced in yard, and the neighborhood was great for walks. The beds were comfy, plenty of towels/pillows, etc. The kitchen was well stocked. And, a full size washer and dryer. Would definitely stay again!

Baseball Tournament

We were satisfied with our stay. We were in Charleston for a baseball tournament at Shipyard Park. The house was fairly convenient to the park and very close to eating and markets. However, the refrigerator need repair as the freezer doesn't keep items frozen. Overall, it was nice.

Nice quiet stay near Charleston and Isle of Palms

Very convenient to get to the beach without the hassle of staying on the island. Perfect for a small family get away with doggies. Love the sunroom and backyard. Backyard is very private to be in a neighborhood. Enjoyed walking our dogs around the neighborhood. Also, very close to shopping areas and restaurants! Owner was out of town, but her daughter was quick to answer any questions we had. Overall a great stay!

LOVED this house!

LOVED this house. It was so clean and private. Neighborhood was quiet and safe. We brought our small dogs and they had the best time in the backyard. We drove and ubered back and forth to downtown and it was easy and affordable. I would love to come back one day. One of my favorite rentals I’ve stayed at.

Loved our stay. It was very convenient to IOP and shops and restaurants are right across the street. The neighborhood is quiet. The fenced backyard was perfect for privacy and our family pet. Will definitely look to stay again.

Perfect trip with dog!

We absolutely loved our stay here! Cindy is a fantastic host and beyond accommodating. I traveled with my goldendoodle and he absolutely loved the yard. My favorite part was the screened in porch. The neighborhood is really nice and quiet. The house had everything we needed. The location is perfect, super quick to get anywhere. We made it a routine to drive to Sullivan's Island in the mornings and let the dogs run around on the beach. Definitely hope to stay here again in the future!

A Birthday Celebration

There were 6 of us family and friends and our accommodations were just perfect. A king and a queen for the 2 couples and a queen and a twin for two adult singles. It was a perfect setup for us. Everything one could want/need was provided. We would certainly book this again. It is in a great location to get to Charleston, Folly Beach, Sullivan’s Island and Isle of Palms. The home was very clean and linens were well appointed as was the whole place. Cindy Hunt was most accommodating.

Perfect family spot for exploring the Charlestown Area

Perfect spot to explore Charlestown and the area. 8 minutes from the beach and 20 minutes to downtown Charlestown. Cindy, the owner, was in touch before we got there giving recommendations on what to do and where to eat. We arrived to a beach pail filled with treats for each of our kids. The location made it easy to enjoy the beach and downtown and our dog enjoyed his downtime in the quiet, friendly neighborhood. The house was so comfortable for our family of 5 plus a dog. We were able to spread out and relax. There is a supermarket across the road and a Target in case you forget anything. Highly recommend and would look to return in the future.

Great home with a wonderful host

We enjoyed our Thanksgiving family trip. The home was very clean with a well stocked kitchen. It has a great layout for 3 adult couples with a fenced backyard. Very nice neighborhood that is conveniently located. Great shopping nearby . The host was great and immediately responsive. We will definitely return .

I am a local real estate agent with Agent Owned Realty on Isle of Palms. Having raised 3 wonderful children in Mount Pleasant and now my 4 legged children rule the roost and keep me entertained. We are originally from Vail, Colorado but traded skiing for the beach 18 year's ago.

Why they chose this property

If you are looking for something close to the beach with out the price tag, this home could be the closest one available. No traffic to deal with!!! Save money !!! Close to so many of the restaurants with 20 plus fabulous choices all within 1/2 mile you will be able to afford to eat out more:). Shopping and entertainment are also so close. Downtown is a quick 10-15 minutes away. Mount Pleasant has a large assortment of antique and eclectic find shop's for those ready for a day away from the sun and fun. So much to do, so little time!!!! This vacation home is open, roomy and cheery . A great outdoor private yard. Because we all enjoy cottage-like atmospheres, we chose our home in a funky, quiet and rather eccentric small neighborhood where locals as well as vacationers can revel and relax in its casual vibe.
