Work/Fun Weekend

This is my second stay in this beautiful home. Everything you need is provided...I travel a lot for work and this home is one that I will continue to return to when work brings me to the Charleston area. The perfect place to unwind and relax, but close enough to everything to enjoy all the sights, sounds, and food that the area has to offer!

Wonderful visit and a great location

Six of us were there only 4 nights and we all wish it could have been longer. The house was immaculate and everything exceeded our expectations. The owners’ residence is on the same property, but there was total privacy. We never knew anyone was there unless we needed some help. It’s a fine setup.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this peaceful and well appointed home. It was so enjoyable to enjoy the tranquil setting with a good book and cup of coffee while watching sunrise each morning; yet the location and proximity to the charming city of Charleston made it super easy to enjoy all that the city has to offer. Beautiful beaches, the historical city and the airport are all a short and easy drive from the house. We could not have chosen a better location. The owners, while onsite, were there for us if we needed them but completely unintrusive. The kitchen and entire home were well stocked with all of the essentials. I can not more highly recommend this home.

Fantastic Family Getaway

What a wonderful week we had here! The house is beautiful, the location is gorgeous, everything is clean, beds were very comfortable (and i have back issues), kitchen was fully stocked. The calm and peace just sitting out on the back porch looking at the river was breathtaking. The kids were able to go kayaking and enjoyed the view. The only con about the house is the wifi was a bit spotty in the downstairs bedroom. We were a 10 minute drive to Patriot's Point, where my nephew toured the aircraft carrier with my husband, and we all went on a harbour tour (highly recommend). My daughter and friend and niece found a nearby movie theater on one of the days it rained. Short drive to downtown Charleston. Short drive to Isle of Palm beach as well. My one nephew said he wanted to buy the house and move the whole family in LOL I would definitely stay there again!

Only a short hop into Charleston just over the bridge ! This house is super convenient to Charleston and great restaurants. And the beach of Sullivan's Island is just 6 miles down the road. Truly a "perfect location". Gorgeous surroundings plus the dock. This property is encircled by water and marsh, and has water views of the creeks, the rivers, and the marshes. The water views and the tidal changes really make this property spectacular. It is all about the fabulous waterfront location, the ebb and flow of the tides, the natural wildlife, and the privacy, combined with a comfortable savvy home. What a way to enjoy Historic Charleston, the Beaches and the marshes! The location can't be beat, as is evidenced by all the new mega million dollar homes in the area.
