Les Ferouailles, a beautiful stone farmhouse of almost 200 years old, completely renovated, offering you a breathtaking view of the Périgord Noir and the Lot et Garonne.
Here, we listen to the silence…
The magnificent sunsets and stars illuminate the view and provide the perfect backdrop for a relaxing and unforgettable stay.
The region rich in history offers many superb visits to nearby bastides, castles, bastides, villages as well as many activities.
You have a cottage consisting of a kitchen, a living room and 4 individual bedrooms each with its private bathroom and a private swimming pool of 12 x 5 m. Two terraces are provided for your meals outside, one under an arbor near the swimming pool.
Beds are made upon arrival, shower and bath towels are available.
We offer a "full fridge on arrival" service. You can do your shopping online at the Intermarché supermarket or Casino de Fumel / Montrayal. We collect them for you, put them cool. Like this, your vacation can start as soon as you arrive.
When you leave you don't have to worry about cleaning.

Beautiful villa with excellent hosts

Lovely villa in a very peaceful location. Gerard and Martine were wonderful hosts, full of useful advice on places to visit and information about the region. Our teenage children loved the swimming pool and the en-suite bedrooms. Super place for a family holiday.

Lovely spot, well appointed rooms, charming hosts

At the top of a hill, beautiful views, all rooms with bathrooms. Quiet, with plenty of shady places to sit. Good pool. Gerard and Martine Thomas could not have been more welcoming and went out of their way to ensure that we enjoyed our stay.

Wonderful stay!

We thoroughly enjoyed our week at Les Ferouailles. Martine and Gerard were very welcoming and gave us lots of information about the surrounding area - we particularly enjoyed the food market at Loubejac and lunch at Le Caillau. The bedrooms and bathrooms were great for seven adults and the pool was just what we needed after a day out. Thank you Gerard and Martine!

Wonderful

A wonderful house with super friendly and helpful hosts. Martine and Gérard were so welcoming and although they weren’t intrusive, they were always available if needed. Gérard told us about places to visit and even offered to take some of our family to ease the number of people in our party. The house was spotlessly clean and the views from the house and pool were spectacular. Supermarkets were only 20 mins away in Fumel. We would highly recommend.

Beautiful Setting, perfect property, amazing hosts

Fantastic property with a fantastic sized pool. We loved that each of the bedrooms (all ensuite) had their own access to the courtyard, so no need to tiptoe past sleeping siblings in the morning! The kitchen is incredibly well equipped with everything that you could need, from serving dishes, oven proof dishes, saucepans/frying pans etc., which made preparing meals really simple - very much home from home. Martine and Gerard are exceptional hosts, and were an invaluable source of information of what was going on where in the local area, and where the best local eateries were. Our dog also loved the space and her walks through the woods and surrounding area, and more importantly the fuss made of her by Martine! We would highly recommend a stay at Ferouailles!

Les Ferouailles in Saint-Front-sur-Lémance

Ons verlof begon al schitterend met het aanbod van verhuurder Gérard om voor ons te gaan winkelen tegen onze aankomst. Online besteld/betaald en bij aankomst stond de rosé fris! Een goede start dus. Verder stonden Gérard en Martine ons met raad en daad bij met de nodige suggesties voor uitstapjes. Wij zijn al één en ander gewend, maar deze keuken met gerei en toestellen was zéér compleet. In Frankrijk wordt er ook gesorteerd en dat is hier niet anders, maar zeker vermeldenswaard dat Gérard deze klus óók voor zijn rekening nam evenals het dagelijks poetsen van het zwembad. We kunnen dan ook niet anders dan deze vakantiewoning mét schitterend uitzicht van harte aan te bevelen.

Geweldig verblijf, mindere locatie

Het verblijf en de gastheer en gastvrouw waren geweldig. Gérard woont vlakbij en staat altijd klaar met raad en daad om je verblijf zo aangenaam mogelijk te maken. Hij nam een van ons zelfs mee voor een rondje golf in zijn plaatselijke thuisclub. Toch is niets echt bij de deur. Een wandelingetje naar de bakker 's ochtends is toch al meteen een tocht van drie kwartier waarbij je heel wat hoogtemeters aflegt. Interessantere dingen zijn al gauw een uur in de wagen (heen en terug). Geen grote ramp, gewoon een licht ongemak... Het verblijf en het domein zijn dan weer prachtig en luxueus. Je hebt alles bij de hand en geniet in zowat elke richting van een geweldig uitzicht. Een aanrader voor vriendengroepen of gezinnen met al wat oudere kinderen...

Mooi verbouwde boerderij in rustige bosrijke omgeving, van alle gemakken voorzien

Zeer aardige en behulpzame eigenaren, die bij ook bij het huis wonen. Mooi zwembad, prachtig uitzicht. Alle slaapkamers hebben eigen badkamer.

Erholung in großartigem Ambiente

Das Haus bietet eine tolle Aussicht über das Perigord. Die Zimmer sind geschmackvoll eingerichtet und bieten allen Komfort. Martine und Gerard sind sehr nette, aufmerksame, und zurückhaltende Gastgeber, die sehr um das Wohl der Gäste bemüht sind. Magnifique maison et propriétaires au top

Maison très jolie, très confortable, bien équipée, en pleine nature. Bien située pour visiter des bastides. Piscine et jardin avec 2 terrasses très agréables.
