Tranquil Cat Fish Cottage Getaway Point Breeze, NY

Catfish Cottage is a newly renovated, studio-style private rental located just steps from Oak Orchard Creek in Kent, NY, near the Waterport and Point Breeze area.

The cottage features two twin beds, making it a comfortable option for friends, fishing trips, or small families. Inside you’ll find a fully equipped kitchen with a stove, microwave, and refrigerator, along with a modern, updated bathroom and walk-in shower.

While the cottage is not directly on the water, it sits within our Oak Orchard property and provides direct access to the creek. Guests have kayaking available on site, a boat launch on the property, and private parking.

Our cottage is popular during peak fishing season and is just a short drive from Lake Ontario and Point Breeze, known for bait and tackle shops, waterfront dining, and unforgettable sunsets.

Amenities include air conditioning, heat, Wi-Fi, TV, fresh linens, extra pillows and blankets, and smoke and carbon monoxide detectors. (Washer and toiletries are not included.)

Catfish Cottage offers a clean, updated place to unwind after a day on the water; quiet, comfortable, and close to everything our area has to offer.

Lovely cottage

We really enjoyed our stay here. The cottage is beautifully renovated and furnished, comfortable, and clean. It's small, as we expected when looking at the photos, but the space is used efficiently, so we didn't feel like we didn't have enough space. Host is super helpful, everything was easy.

What a great place! It was literally right in front of me from the direction of the road i drove to get to it. Excellent communication with the host so i could access the place, park my vehicle, etc. The cottage itself is super cool and accommodating. I would return here in a heartbeat!

Short Stay

This nice little cottage was located within sight of a marina in a quiet area. We found the accommodations clean and everything we needed for our stay was there. Unfortunately we only had one night and had to leave early in the morning so we only had time to take a short drive up to the lake for sunrise. I would definitely recommend this to any couple that likes things like campfires, fishing & kayaking.

Great Getaway!

Darling little renovated cottage with modern amenities. Cute, practical kitchen with basic necessities provided; very comfortable bed and bedding; small, flat screen TV (perfect so we could catch up on Olympics); bath with walk-in shower (hair dryer provided). Next door to little grocery store. Kayaks provided, which were fun to use (only 1 life jacket - we had to carry the kayaks across the street to find access to lake). We were a little confused finding the place, couldn't find the 'catfish' right away. I would highly recommend this little cottage and definitely would stay there again!

Lovely little cottage

This was the perfect little cottage to spend a long weekend. I was on my own, and felt very safe. I had a relaxing time, and can't wait to go back, maybe when the weather is a bit warmer.
