This beautiful home was perfect for our beach vacation. We arrived to a clean, welcoming home, sparkling pool, and perfect location near shops and the beach. It was an easy walk just down the street to see the beach, and watch the sun rise and set. We enjoyed grilling out, swimming, shopping, watching the sunset off the dock. It’s a very peaceful neighborhood offering relaxation but plenty of restaurants and shopping within walking distance. The beautiful open layout of the kitchen and living area was perfect for cooking and enjoying meals as a family while the kids played games and sat on the deck. The communication with the host was flawless and made everything carefree and enjoyable. We had an incredible vacation and look forward to returning to this beautiful island and felt this home was in the perfect location on the island.

From sunrise walks on the beach to sunsets by the dock, it sounds like Pelican's Nest by AMI Locals was the perfect backdrop for a memorable family vacation, Naomi. We love hearing that the open living spaces brought everyone together, while the pool, nearby beach, and walkable shops and restaurants made every day feel easy and relaxing. It's also wonderful to know our team helped make your stay carefree from start to finish. We truly appreciate your kind words and can't wait to welcome your family back for another peaceful island getaway on AMI.

The house was nice and had everything you needed but there was construction going on less than five feet from the house. They started working at 7 am and didn’t stop most days until 630pm. The banging woke everyone up every morning, no sleeping in on vacation. For the price we paid I feel like this should have been disclosed.

Beautiful home with great pool, beautiful views of the intercostal water. Short walk to beach. Comfortable amenities. We booked about a month out so the price was a bit higher than would have liked- perhaps would have been cheaper if we booked further out. The unit comes with little cleaning supplies (ie hand soap, dish soap, laundry detergent)- would be nice if it was fully stocked with this so you didn’t have to purchase your own- especially for the price of staying. Overall great stay and would go again

Sounds like a really nice stay overall—thanks for sharing, Jonathan! We’re so glad you enjoyed your time at Pelican’s Nest by AMI Locals. That pool, those intracoastal views, and an easy walk to the beach really make it a special spot to unwind. We appreciate the notes on pricing and supply as well. Booking a bit further out can sometimes help with rates, and we do provide starter items to get you settled in, with guests typically picking up anything additional they may need during their stay. Your feedback is always helpful for us and future guests. Glad to hear you’d come back and we’d love to have you again for another island getaway!

We loved our entire stay at this beautiful house! An easy 1 & a half block walk to the nearest beach, the house was beautifully outfitted and very comfortable in addition to a large screened porch with comfortable sofa, table and chairs overlooking the beautiful pool area and the canal. We’ll definitely reserve this home again & truly look forward to our next stay at Pelican’s Roost soon. Barb & Roger Georgia

Peacefully Perfect Stay at Pelican’s Nest

This property was the perfect location for a fun filled week! Views were unmatched; paddle boarding mornings watching the sunrise on the canal and cooking locally caught seafood in the beautiful kitchen while watching the sunset was magical! Pool was the perfect size for a full family and the property was wonderfully manicured. Biking distance to everything and especially nice to come back to a quiet location to relax and recharge. This home made our first trip to AMI spectacular.

Fabulous home.

It is not typical of us to write reviews, but this wonders property deserves it. After having to leave a house because of numerous unaddressed issues, we were fortunate enough to find this beautiful place last minute. The house is noticeably well maintained, has top of the line furnishings and is incredibly clean, bright and airy. It is located on a canal in a quiet neighborhood with wonderful sunset views. We are very grateful for our time here. The Radley Family

We loved Pelican Nest - it's a home from home!

We visit Anna Maria Island several times a year and were thrilled to find Pelican Nest, a property we’ve rented before, was available again.Pelican Nest is a beautifully furnished, three-bedroom, three-bathroom luxury home in a quiet residential area. In addition to its spacious open-plan living area, it features a screened-in first-floor outdoor seating area—perfect for relaxing in the evening. The property also boasts a generously sized heated pool and plenty of privacy, making it an ideal getaway. Plus, it's within walking distance to Pine Avenue, where you’ll find a selection of charming shops, restaurants and the beach. The team at AMI was incredibly helpful, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience. We will certainly rent from them again in the future!

Great but expected better

The home is beautiful and loved the pool benches and layout and the lounge chairs. They said it was heated but it hardly got warm at night, would've enjoyed a night swim. There's a smell when you walk in that is musty and mossy. Got a candle to help. Was met with ants in the kitchen all week even after getting ant bait traps and cockroaches in the bathrooms. The furniture definitely needs an upgrade and for a multi million dollar house they could at least give you a somewhat comfortable bed? Loved the canal view and privacy and being in the pool during the day but those rock hard beds with scratchy cheap sheets will not make us go back..you dreaded having to sleep in them every night. Was such a disappointment. The communication with the management was immediate but they never said if something got done until I asked.

This amazing property was perfect for our family of 6 with something for everyone. The pool and second floor screened porch were favorite spots for gathering and relaxing. Loved the location, with easy access to different beaches, Pine Street shopping and restaurants, and the two piers!
