The Barn has recently been fully renovated and is fully Centrally Heated. Situated in a quite residential area of town, the Property is unique as it offers privacy, a lovely garden and shared Pool within Bagni di Lucca, just 5 minutes walk to restaurants, market, shops. With all modern appliances it comprises 2 Double Bedrooms, reached by external stairs, a Bathroom and large living area with Kitchenette and separate toilet. We own two properties which share the pool and each has separate Barbecue, also each has it's own outdoor space and multiple units may be booked with us.

Fantastic, relaxed and uncomplicated

We had a great stay for five days. A family of four with kids at 4 and 8. The host Paul is very warm and helpfull, and we enjoyed our stay, hanging by the pool and drove out to see the beautiful and quiet area. The town is small, but has a couple of restaurants and a good supermarked with very fair prices. We recommend a stay.

De host Paul was vriendelijk en reageerde snel op onze verzoeken. De informatie over het bezoeken van Florence die Paul gaf bleek niet actueel meer. Zo waren de kosten voor de treinreis vanaf Lucca en parkeerkosten in Lucca flink hoger dan Paul dacht.De inrichting van de accomodatie was netjes maar wel enigszins gedateerd. Voor een verblijf van 5 dagen is één handdoek per persoon echt te weinig! Op de dag van vertrek stond de schoonmaakploeg al om 9.45 uur te wachten, terwijl we tot 10.00 uur tijd hadden om te vertrekken.

Place of Tranquility

Ideal place if you wish to lie back and relax. Close to centre of friendly town but very handy for visiting historical towns like Lucca and Barga. Would certainly recommend.

einfach wundervoll

Das Haus und der Garten sind einfach wundervoll und wir alle haben uns bestens erholt. Wir hatten das große Glück, dass wir die einzigen Gäste waren und somit den wunderbaren Garten und Poolbereich für uns hatten. Das Objekt war sauber, gepflegt, einfach aber liebevoll eingerichtet und bestens ausgestattet. Die 2 Kochplatten sind für größere Menüs nicht geeignet, aber für unsere kleinen Kochaktionen und den Espresso am Morgen völlig ausreichend. Paul war ein zuverlässiger und hilfsbereiter Vermieter, der immer ansprechbar war. Die Kommunikation im Vorfeld und vor Ort verlief einwandfrei. Wir haben uns rundherum wohlgefühlt - vielen Dank, dass wir an diesem wundervollen Platz sein konnten.

magnifique et reposant

Très joli hameau dans la verdure et le calme. Tout à proximité au centre du village. Nous avons apprécié la terrasse et la piscine, dans le respect des autres hôtes qui la partagent. Paul est disponible et accueillant, nous le remercions. La cuisine est sommaire mais avec le nécessaire et barbecue à l’exterieur. Notre séjour y fut donc très agréable!

The property was ideally located close to the centre of "Bagni". The facilities at the property provided us with all that we needed for a very comfortable stay. Paul was really helpful throughout our holiday - including the transfer from the previous villa in Fornoli. The scenery in this region is sublime and the locals are extremely welcoming. John

Modern comfort in a wonderful converted barn.

The property is a lovely barn conversion, with comfortable, modern furnishings. We really enjoyed using the pool and sitting out on the terrace. The property is in a great location a 5-min walk from Bagni Di Lucca village. Paul, the property manager was very welcoming and helpful. The only reason for 4 stars rather than 5 is that the bedrooms were uncomfortably hot at night during our August stay. This is because we felt we couldn't leave the windows open due to the voracious mosquitoes in the area, which bite day or night. Fly screens on the windows would have allowed us to let some air in without fear of more mozzie bites. As I say though, otherwise a wonderful stay in a lovely location.

The Property is managed after by our friends Paul & Raffaella, who live nearby.
We enjoy spending time at the House and having Family and friends stay over, we have fallen in love with the area around Bagni Di Lucca as it offers us everything we need and gives us chance to relax away from our stressful working lives. Our children love it as we can walk in the nearby forests or paddle around in the River Lima there is always something to occupy them in such a peaceful and beautiful area.

Why they chose this property

The Owners bought the properties as a place where we could meet up with Family and friends in an area that we love very much. We could play in the garden with the children or take a relaxing walk around the town and stop of for nice drink or share a Pizza, and if it gets too hot we can always cool off in the Pool. We are also very close to Lucca and the wonderful Mediterranean coast with it's marvellous beaches.

What makes this property unique

The Villa is situated in a quiet residential area of the town and has easy, quick access to the town and all the facilities, so we can walk into town for a Beer and a Pizza and not have to worry about driving. We can also walk into town to visit the twice weekly market or relax in the Park in the centre and get a coffee or ice cream in one of the local Bars. A large shared garden & Pool make this property unique.
