Excellent!

We selected this home in order to explore many different areas in the Garfagnana and it was the perfect jumping off point to do so! Our hosts were lovely and helpful. I would definitely recommend and hope to return in the near future for longer excursions.

Paolo’s property was perfect for me and my family. It is clean, spacious and very well presented. It is a perfect location for exploring the Garfagnana region and close to plenty of local amenities. Tuscany 2023

The set up of this property is first class for two adults, although there are additional bunk beds for children. It is difficult to find at first but you need to focus on the village of Ghivizzano. Having said that there is private access to the property and good parking. The pool is a very usable for a decent swim and good sun beds for your use. Highly recommended.

Fosca et sa famille nous ont réservé un accueil formidable. Fosca est une dame très attachante qui s'occupe parfaitement de ses invités. Wunderschönes Ferienhaus

Die Unterkunft ist wunderschön, in einem großen Garten mit Pool. Die Hausherrin ist sehr nett und versucht trotz wenig Englisch für das Wohlergehen zu sorgen. Ausflugsziele sind leider swhr weit entfernt. In der Nähe sind allerdings die sehenswerten Städte Lucca und Barga.

Le jardin et la piscine sont magnifiques et très bien entretenus. La maison était très propre à notre arrivée et dotée de tous les équipements nécessaires. Les hôtes sont très accueillants et très sympathiques. Vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés !

A perfect place for a happy vacation!

We absolutely loved the accommodation and would come back anytime. The house is a cozy little home, furnished and decorated with taste and lovely details. It is equipped with everything you need during a vacation. Although it is located on the grounds of the owners you have plenty of privacy and the owners generously shared their wonderful pool and lush tuscany style garden with us which we regularly enjoyed. The host family is absolutely lovely, very warm-hearted, sweet and supportive with anything we needed. And they always had great tipps for us on what to see or do and where to eat or shop for which we were very grateful. Nothing's better than a great tipp from locals :-) We are more than happy having found that wonderful Tuscany jewel and if we could rate 10 stars that's what we'd do!

søde værter, dejligt hus med skøn pool.

Et skønt hus med dejlig pool, hvor alt var pænt og rent. Dejligt stort soveværelse med skønt badeværelse. Beliggenheden var dog trist. Også ærgerligt, at de vandede græsset, således at havemøblerne udenfor ikke kunne benyttes om morgenen, hvis man ville spise udenfor.

Tolles Häuschen in den Bergen der Toskana

Das Ferienhaus sowie auch das Grundstück waren sehr sauber und gepflegt. Das Haus ist für eine kleine Familie mit max. 2 Kindern völlig ausreichend. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet, allerdings haben wir einen Toaster oder eine Mikrowelle vermisst. Beide Etagen des Hauses sind klimatisiert und machen den Aufenthalt auch an sehr heißen Tagen angenehm. Der Garten ist sehr gepflegt und der große Pool ist perfekt zum abkühlen, schwimmen und verweilen. Paolo und seine Familie waren wirklich sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Gastgeber. Wir haben uns pudelwohl gefühlt! :)

This house is nestled in a park-like garden with lemon trees (used as a small outdoor kitchen), wood-burning oven, and grill. It is located in the countryside, in the valley of Serchio River at the gates of Garfagnana, 40 min away from the famous beaches of Versilia, a few minutes away from the beautiful mountains of Passo dell'Abetone, and 25 min away from Lucca and its wonderful historic centre.

What makes this property unique

From the window of thee bedroom, it is impossible not to see the medieval watchtower of Castruccio Castracani, and the hamlet of Ghivizzano Castello with its ancient villages. Going down by the staircase of stone, you will arrive to the bright living room/kitchen with a wide door window leading to the pool and garden.
