Lots of room, very clean. Only sleeps 13 on beds. The rest are pull out couches. Nicely updated and remodeled. Lots of charming mining themed decorations. Fully stocked kitchen. Very easy in out off of the ski hill.
My oldest granddaughter said she wanted to go skiing last year. Since my wife and the 3 children have skied for a number of year I said I’d get it figured out. I started looking and found the mine shaft Chalet. Booked it and followed up though out the year on questions that were always answered timely. Last weekend we had everyone there and we had a blast. May be one of the most memorable family get together we’ll have. Skiing was fantastic.
The only thing I had an issue with was getting up one of the roads. After that, LET THE GOOD TIMES ROLL.
The staff at the ski rental area was great also. They added to our total experience.
If you get a chance I hope you enjoy as much as we did!!!!
Overall, the check in process was very easy and the place was neat and clean when we arrived and had everything we needed for a successful ski trip! 10/10
Very nice setup for both those looking to ski or snowboard, as well as those looking to relax and kickback in a cozy chalet. Kids can sled right out the front door, bring sleds. Good Wifi. Ski in, Ski out access. Everything clean and well maintained.
We were struggling to find a place big enough with AC in the summer for our group. This location was perfect for our group of 12. The drive here was a amazing and not too long from some fun, small towns.
The property manager was super excellent at responding to my questions. He was laid back and helpful.
We loved the Mineshaft #1 house. It was well maintained, clean and fully stocked to cover 18 people in our group. It was nice to have the air conditioning on the 2nd and 3rd levels. The lower level did get warm also, so maybe another air cond, more mobile fans, or even ceiling fans would help. The pull out couches downstairs were not the most comfortable (as is the case with most pull out couches :) ), however there was plenty of room for a king & a queen air mattresses to be set up. Would recommend this property for sure.
