About this property

Lakefront Home on Lake Oconee

This 2-year old three (3) bedroom lakefront home in the Hawks Ridge section of Cuscowilla Golf Club. This modern style home features an open concept with a great room, screen porch, large kitchen island, Big Green Egg grill and patio.

This professionally decorated home is only rented on a limited basis so that it will remain well maintained. The home can comfortably accommodates 7 people and has a two car garage with only one open space and additional parking in the driveway. NO trailers are permitted at the house.

BOATING/JET SKIES
The dock at the house is only deep enough for a pontoon boat or jet skis. I keep my boat there, so there is an additional cost to store it elsewhere. The are two common docks nearby but they have a VERY strict 72 hour maximum policy. There are several boat and jet ski rental places on the lake and nearby.

The at the house is only deep enough for a pontoon boat. I keep my boat there. The cost to store elsewhere is $100 for 1-3 days & $150 for 4-7 days.
There is common boat dock nearby but there is a VERY STRICT 72 hour period. I have 2 strikes (of 3) from recent guests not adhering to the policy.
Also you MUST walk around the front of the house to get to the common dock and not through our neighbor's backyard...they are not fans of this:)

Great Property!

This house was perfect for a weekend at the lake. It was well appointed, very clean and excellent location. We enjoyed having coffee on the porch overlooking the lake and watching all the birds. We had a minor problem when we arrived, but the owner was a pleasure to work with and quick to solve it. I would highly recommend this house for a lake getaway!

Family weekend getaway

Lovely home in a beautiful gated golf community. House was very clean and spacious. The owner of the house responded promptly when we had questions and gave us great suggestions for activities. The only draw back is the lack of access to the neighborhood pool. It is for members only.

Change of scenery.

It was time to get my family out of Atlanta during the Covid Shut down and this house was just what the doctor ordered. It’s a great house on the lake perfect for a quick get away. It’s set in a beautiful very quiet part of cuscowilla. Also having no stairs was a huge plus in having a 10 month old.

Weekend at the lake

We visited Lake Oconee for a family gathering and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The property has a prime location within the beautiful Cuscowilla golf community. We had a nice time on the lake as the property has easy boat access and it’s close to all the restaurants. The host was very accommodating, quickly responsive and easily accessible. Great choice overall!

Peaceful getaway in beautiful location

Perfect refuge from the chaos of life. Safe neighborhood, near to all the lake has to offer. Didn’t get to golf, but the course looked great! House was very comfortable for our family, and immediately felt like home. Not a party home or party area, better suited for families looking for a low-key getaway.

We were seeking an additional home in the area to accommodate extra family members during our stay in the Lake Oconee region. This house was an excellent solution. Very well decorated and thoughtfully furnished with everything you could want and need in a vacation home. The location itself in Cuscowilla is truly picturesque. TVs in each room were appreciated along with high quality bedding. Very good communication from host as well. Very deserving of 5 star plus rating in all aspects of this VRBO home.

Great weekend getaway

We had a lovely and relaxing weekend at Hawk’s Ridge. The house was perfect for our needs and in a beautiful setting. Everything was spotless and there are lots of thoughtful touches, extra linens and towels plus pantry items for the kitchen. We will be back for another visit!

Had great escape to the lake! stayed for a week. House was nice, clean, new. Great location on the water. Good dock space both on property and community dock space. Easy access to boat and jet ski rental. Supportive owner, interested in making sure everything is working well.New and clean kitchen. Would definitely stay again. In community with challenginf fun looking golf course, will bring clubs next time.

Great Family Vacation!!

We took our two kids under the age of 4 and my in laws to Greg’s lake house and could not have had a better time! The location is awesome right on the lake and inside Cuscowilla! Greg’s house was very clean and had everything we needed and more! We loved having the little room off the entry for games and toys. And the back screen porch was great for afternoon cocktails and morning coffee. We rented a boat across the lake and could park it in the community dock right down the street. We will for sure come back! Greg was very quick to respond about anything we needed.

Amazing getaway!

Beautiful home! Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a nice getaway or vacation. From booking the reservation to checkout, the process was smooth and easy. We had great communication from the property manager and were provided recommendations for restaurants, stores, and things to do in the area.

This is a brand new home built in January of 2018. This is a family owned home and is rented on limited weekends and weeks throughout the year.

Why they chose this property

This property is located right on Lake Oconee with common-dock access (3 days max) and is inside a gated community of one of the best golf courses in Georgia. The restaurant is currently under construction and two pools on property with access to boat and jet ski rentals nearby. Water sports and fishing are awesome in this area and there are a bunch of great restaurants and a movie theater all within 5-8 miles. Also, The Ritz-Carlton at Reynold's Plantation is right around the corner and dining open to the public.

What makes this property unique

The opportunity to play Cuscowilla is typically available at an unaccompanied guest fee rate. Tee times are limited, so call the pro shop can provide accurate pricing and take reservations if needed. (706) 485-0094. The pool was made unavailable to any unaccompanied guests in 2021.
