This 2 bedroom 2 bath condo faces the beautiful waters of the Gulf of Mexico and Perdido Pass. Sit on your balcony and watch all the boats coming and going to the Gulf Besides the best views in Orange Beach, this low-density complex located directly on the beach features abundant amenities such as a boardwalk to the Gulf, fitness room, sauna and steam rooms, as well as indoor and outdoor pools with hot tubs. Grand Pointe also has barbecue grills and a meeting room.
Grand Pointe is within walking distance of San Roc Cay, and The Gulf Restaurant. San Roc Cay offers shopping, restaurants and charter boat fishing. If you don't want to take a boat in the Gulf you can fish right off the jetties beside the restaurant.

Great Stay
The condo was perfect. 3 of us came in town for a couple days of fishing. The location in reference to the marina across the road was exactly what we were looking for. The pictures advertised on VRBO were accurate. The condo was clean. We had a great time. Ice maker didn’t work but really not an inconvenience at all. Plenty of places around to get ice and put in the freezer that works just fine. Thanks to the homeowner for a perfect place to stay for the mission we were on.

Grande Pointe 512
Location is fantastic. Property needs a little updating but cleanliness is an issue. Especially in the front bathroom shower. Mold and mildew. Shower doors need to e removed and scrubbed. Cleanliness throughout needs improvement. Especially under beds, couches, fridge vent. Little kids drop things and it was nasty. Minor updates to 5is property and cleaning could improve it drastically. Replacing towel racks and rusted torn patio furniture would be great. Cleaning out the mold under the faucet handles. Letting renters know the ice maker is broken. Etc. sugar sands was wonderful. Location wonderful property ok.

Great location to the beach!
Overall, we we’re very happy with this property. View from this condo is awesome and the patio was enormous. It was an easy walk down to the beach. Plenty space for your own beach chairs or rentals were available. Great location to local restaurants and shops. Only minor negatives were the construction that had scaffolding outside our patio but they were not working while we stayed, and we were not informed of the outdoor pool closure until the day we arrived. We ended up not missing the outdoor pool because the weather was perfect for the beach.

Great location...that's about all
Overall, we were disappointed for these reasons: 1. Building is being painted almost half of parking taken by painters and equipment. One day woke up to a large crane blocking entrance to remove debris from roof 2. Painters erected scaffold on south (beach) side of building and put cable lock on pool gate. Pool and hot tub not available to anyone. 3. Painters erecting scaffold looking into our unit. Could not depend on privacy. 4. Unit was not clean: a. floor so gritty we bought swiffer pads and mopped ourselves b. rug in entry hallway full of sand which tracked into unit (no vacuum cleaner available) c. sliding door in living room would not lock (fixed after calling property manager) d. drain plug in kitchen sink didn't work (didn't fit and filthy) e. hallway access to unit very dirty (covered w/ dryer lint) f. patio furniture rusted g. TV channels didn't work. Had to turn off receiver and turn back on change channel to one that did work. h. soap dispenser in dishwasher would not open so dishes not being cleaned i. no toilet paper in second bathroom. Only partial rolls in half and master baths (there was more toilet paper in my hotel room on the way home than in this condo!)

Excellent location, beautiful views
Other than the cleanliness of the kitchen and dishes (pretty gross), we loved our stay here. The balcony is HUGE, it's so close to everything in OB, and the views of the Gulf and the Pass were spectacular. Short boardwalk walk to the beach, excellent pool and hot tub, and parking was not bad at all.
