About this property

There is only 1 complex on the Island with the view of Grand Pointe. This recently updated condo features. King bed in Master, twins in second. Sleeper in Living area. The Grand Pointe complex is located right next to the Perdido Pass Bridge and on the most beautiful beach in America. Grand Pointe has a heated indoor/outdoor pool, sauna, hot tub and BBQ grill area. There is plenty of parking and easy elevator access to the unit. Beautiful view of Perdido Pass and Gulf of Mexico.

Master Bedroom has 1 king bed,
First Guest Bedroom has 2 twin beds.
Unit also has a queen sleeper sofa.

Christmas at the Condo

I came down and spent a few days by myself and then my son, his wife and their toddler came and joined me for Christmas vacation. We had a great time. Just wish it had been a little warmer--pipes froze in another unit.

Grande Pointe 602

The property is going through overall improvements, but it would have been nice to know that ahead of time. It is a a very spacious and decent condo, but it is out dated. The two main complaints I have is the non master suite bathroom has mold growing around the AC vent due to improper ventilation. WiFi is also an unsecured network. For me, who likes to take working vacations, this is a problem. Overall it wasn’t bad but it wasn’t great either. The best part about it is the location.

Very disappointed!

We have stayed at this property several times but were very disappointed this time due to not being told the property was under renovation. Parking was a nightmare, no pool or hot tub, noisy all day long from construction. I know the reason its not told but that seems under handed to me. Sure if we had known we wouldn't have booked it but still full disclosure should have happened. I tried to leave a review on the VRBO website but I guess that has been disabled for that reason. As far as the condo itself most everything was ok. It would have been nice to have instructions for the TV since there wasn't much else to do. Although there was a dish receiver and dish remote we could not ever get Dish to work. The only thing worse would have been if our 2 grandkids had been with us and no pool. They had a conflict at the last minute and couldn't come. I doubt very seriously that we will book through Sugar Sands ever again.

The beach view from the property was so relaxing!

The property was clean, cozy, and it was exactly one minute away from the beach just like the listing of the property stated! Thanks for such a marvelous time I will be coming back!
