Bright, clean, rustic cottage on a treed lot with two separate, self-contained suites...perfect for sharing your holiday with friends and family. This is the perfect cottage for your summer getaway - it's clean, comfortable, and convenient! Just pack your swimsuit & groceries and you're ready to enjoy your holiday, your family, and your friends, to the fullest!

INTERIOR
Separate kitchens up and down each have a stove, fridge, dishwasher, and microwaves, as well as toaster, coffee maker, blender, etc. All kitchen cookware, dishes, cutlery, utensils (including kid dishes/cutlery).

Both suites have their own laundry area, with full-size washer and dryer...Upper suite also has a laundry sink.

The three bedrooms upstairs and two bedrooms downstairs each have double or queen-sized beds, with protective mattress and pillow covers, fresh fitted-sheets & pillows.
*Please bring your own comforters/blankets/sleeping bags. These items are not supplied.

Both bathrooms are modern - upper suite with large tiled walk-in shower; lower suite with tub-shower. Clean bath towels, hand towels & face cloths are provided.
*Please bring your own beach towels.

Both suites have dining and living room areas, with TV's both running cable. A lengthy DVD library is available for your pleasure. Wireless internet is also supplied.
Both suites have toy bins plus a great selection of board games, puzzles, coloring books & crayons/pencil crayons

There is plenty of storage space, and the home is well ventilated, with large windows on both levels. 2 ceiling fans, 4 table fans (1 in each bedroom closet & 1 in living room) & 1 stand-up fan (in living room) in Upper suite.

All cleaning products are provided.

EXTERIOR

The cottage upper suite has 2 upper decks (front and back) with patio furniture and a gas barbecue.

The walkout suite opens onto it's own patio with furniture and fenced yard with fire-pit.

NO PETS ALLOWED, ABSOLUTELY NO EXCEPTIONS!
NO SMOKING/VAPING OF ANY KIND ALLOWED INSIDE PROPERTY (incl tobacco/cannabis/etc) but we cannot guarantee against allergies. Please advise us of any health concerns, and respect local noise and parking by-laws.

Sylvan cottage

We had a great time at Sylvan Lake and the house was exactly what we needed. Lots of room with both suites for our group. Good neighborhood and very close to the lake. Rick was very quick to answer any questions. We would stay here again. Very relaxing and comfortable.

Home away ftom home by beach

Clean functional, comfortable house. The totally contained, separate upstairs and downstairs was perfect for our families ( & young children). Well equiped with all the basics & necessities...not lacking anything. Short drive or medium walk to beach areas. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely hope to return. Owners very accomodating and organized.

Was an excellent location and needed a place with five bedrooms.

The outside of building and yard need an upgrade. For example rotten boards on upper deck , someone is going to get hurt, weeds growing up fence, old carpet and kitchen flooring etc. Inside well equipped with kitchen supplies. Bed downstairs squeaky so you can’t move, for fear of waking people in next room. No air conditioning which we knew but would have made the stay more enjoyable.

Close to the lake, and a great setup for families wanting to stay at Sylvan Lake.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Clean, well appointed suites on the upper and lower floors. Has everything you need to make meals while you stay. A ~10 minute walk to the beach and Lakeshore Drive. The host was attentive, and was quick to address any questions/concerns I had. Would definitely stay again.
