Bright, calm and family-friendly in the heart of Ile d'Oléron

Located on rue de la Corderie, very close to the Chéray market (open all year), the "Filage" house (one of the stages in the traditional transformation of hemp into cordage for the navy within the "Corderie") is a low house with 4 bedrooms, with a bathroom and a shower room, 2 separate toilets.
The entrance and the kitchen are open to the living room of 48m² facing south, on a large terrace of 70m² overlooking the vines and horses, in a landscaped garden with trees of 500m² where you will have lunch and dinner in the shade of the cherry tree. .
It is possible to temporarily accommodate 2 people on the living room sofa, in addition to the 8 people for whom the four bedrooms are provided.
In autumn, winter and spring, the wood stove will effectively complement the solar panels.
Wi Fi, television, washing machine, dishwasher. Unheated wooden swimming pool above ground.

Très jolie maison grande et bien équipée. Plancha et cuisine très pratiqueProche de tout et en même temps très calme. Jardin ombragé quel bonheur de manger à l'ombre du cerisier Merci à Catherine pour l'accueil et toutes les informations sur l'île.

Het verblijf was tiptop in orde . Heel goede ontvangst van de gastvrouw. Zwembad werd geapprecieerd door de kids van 8 en 10 jaar. Overdekte markt op 300 m super. Vanuit ons verblijf mooie tochten mogelijk. Ile d’Oléron is niet te groot zodat er veel kan bezocht worden. Mooi strand in Le Douhet. Conclusie: vakantie geslaagd…

superbes vacances à Oléron

Superbes vacances de 15 jours passées sur l'Ile d'Oléron dans la belle maison de Catherine. Maison parfaite pour 8 personnes, très confortable, chaleureuse, très bien équipée et bien située. Le marché couvert et extérieur est accessible tous les matins à 5 minutes à pieds. Maison qui permet d'accéder rapidement aux voies cyclables de l ile. La piscine a été très appréciée par toute la famille ainsi que la grande terrasse qui permet de prendre du bon temps à la vue de cette belle météo (grande table, chaises longues etc...) et tout cela dans un environnement calme! Merci encore à Catherine pour son accueil convivial. Nous garderons l'adresse de côté!!

Nicht wie beschrieben. Straße zum Markt direkt vor der Tür ist Morgens laut ( Tempo 50) . Baustelle direkt nebenan. Daher keine Privatsphäre am Pool.Bilder in der Anzeige teilweise sehr veraltet.Kein Blick auf die Weinreben, da Garten ziemlich verwildert. Heizung nachts gelegentlich extrem laut. 2 x hatten wir teilweise kein warmes Wasser. Innenausstattung ok, aber auch abgewohnt.Komplizierte Kommunikation mit der Besitzerin , die wir nicht als Gastgeberin empfunden haben. Insgesamt viel zu teuer.

La rue de notre maison fait maintenant partie du centre du village (avec la proximité du marché quotidien) et la vitesse maximale est de 30km/h. Il est vrai que le chantier de construction de deux maisons sur le terrain voisin a pris 6 mois de retard à cause de la pandémie. Pour pallier les inconvénients d'intimité dans la piscine lorsque les ouvriers travaillent, une jolie clôture en bois a été installée. Nous avons laissé pousser la végétation (garantie de fraîcheur et d'intimité) et il est vrai que les vignes sont moins visibles de ce fait. La maison est équipée de deux ballons producteurs d'eau chaude par énergie solaire de 200l chacun. Il est rare, mais pas impossible de manquer d'eau chaude en cas de bains dans la baignoire de la salle de bains des parents. Les meubles de la cuisine seront changés cet hiver, c'est vrai qu'ils sont un peu usés. (l'électroménager est récent, et la maison a été entièrement rénovée en 2020.) Conscients des désagréments occasionnés par le chantier voisin, nous avons proposé à notre locataire un remboursement de 700€ sur le montant de son séjour, qu'il a accepté.

Je suis vraiment désolée que vous ayez le sentiment d'avoir raté vos vacances. Il est vrai que le soleil d'été et la chaleur n'étaient pas au rendez vous cette année. Je m'étonne de ce que vous dites. Le portail ferme tout à fait, mais ne verrouille pas c'est vrai. C'est la première fois que la remarque m'en est faite. Je prévois donc d'installer un verrou sur le portail. Et avec le mauvais temps, la circulation automobile se trouve toujours augmentée en période estivale même sur une route tranquille. Le terrain est de 500m², avec une terrasse de 100m². Les équipements électroménagers sont récents ou neufs, mais les meubles de cuisine seront changés cet automne, ainsi que les poignées des porte fenêtres pour lesquelles je vous avais remerciés de votre délicatesse. Je vous souhaite une bonne rentrée, et un bon voyage à vos enfants.

Agréable sejour au calme

Maison très jolie et agréable. Nous avons pu profiter en plus en ce mois d'août d'une belle piscine hors sol. Propriétaires attentionnés. Très bien situé près d'un marché quotidien l'été.

Agréable maison au calme.

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour en famille dans une maison spacieuse, fonctionnelle et confortable avec un extérieur bien aménagé. Comme la météo l’a permis, nous avons pu prendre tous nos repas dehors sur la grande terrasse. A noter également l’accueil très convivial de la propriétaire.
