Great Value Princeville Studio - Sleeps 2

Discounts available based on length of stay. Our Studio has ceramic tiled floors and a large porcelain tiled shower. All the ceiling areas have been filled with insulation and faced with 2-ply bamboo. Our studio is located at Sandpiper Village I. The Sandpiper grounds boast beautiful mature landscaping and a recently renovated pool complex with a large tile-bottomed pool plus a good size jacuzzi and two Webber gas grills. My studio is less than a minute walk to the pool.

As an option, a Delonge 1,250 BTU free-standing AC unit is available at $12/day for a 3-6 night stay, or $10/day for a 7+ night stay. If you decide to make a reservation, please indicate if you would like the use of the AC unit for the period of your stay and I'll process the appropriate additional charge through VRBO.

There is no cooktop or oven in the studio, however, there are Webber gas barbecue grills available for guests to use on a complimentary basis at the large pool complex, located less than a minute's walk from the unit. Hot meals prepared in this manner can either be enjoyed at the pool or taken back to the studio. The Princeville Resort is located on Kauai's North Shore where you are just minutes away from exploring her many wondrous attractions such as pristine, secluded beaches, the best Kauai has to offer. Great snorkeling, windsurfing, board surfing, or swimming are just minutes away as well. A hike on the Kalalau Trail along the Na Pali Coast reveals unparalleled vistas of ocean, mountains, waterfalls, and sheer cliffs that will stay with you forever. And for the golf enthusiast, Princeville is the home of two world class golf courses, the Maikai Course and the Prince Course ranked #1 in Hawaii by Golf Magazine. Both courses offer discounts to guests of Princeville Resort

Great studio

We had a wonderful time at this studio! The check-in was a little confusing because we didn’t see the studio number clearly addressed in the email, but we were eventually able to figure it out. Everything else was wonderful though! The space was comfortable well laid out. There was ample storage space and the bed was comfy. The location was also amazing and was close to all the things we wanted to do on the north shore! I would definitely stay here again!

Super Nice Studio in Princeville!

This studio was very nice! The kitchenette was perfect for out needs as we only made breakfast here having coffee and using the toaster oven for bagels and heating things up! The bed was very comfortable and the pool with hot tub was a nice bonus. The parking can be a challenge if you arrive after dark...but instructions tell you how to find more parking. I happened to print out the wrong instructions and reached out to the manager and he quickly called me back and was very patient with me. Also, we had a minor issue with something that needed to be fixed in our unit and Karl made a trip up from Lihue area and took care of the issue within 24 hours!! He was amazing! When we travel back to this are we will definitely be staying here again for sure!!

I stayed with one other person, 5 days, 4 nights. Included: Shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in shower. Two beach/pool towels Two shower towels Multiple small towels for tidying Toaster oven, microwave, coffee maker, paper towels. TV with Netflix included Fans Portable AC unit for rent at $10/day. I can imagine this would be quite helpful during the summer. Areas for improvement: Cleaner toilet, shower, and shower curtain (some mold and odd smell in there—if you have germaphobe tendencies, I would suggest trying to deal with it or finding another place) More towels Dusting around all windows. The bed was comfortable and smelt fresh. All rules were simple to follow, and studio was easy to find. My main concern was the state of the restroom and cooking appliances. I would suggest a deeper clean. Otherwise, the stay was worth the price, and I am grateful to have experienced it. Thank you!

Good value in lovely Princeville

It was a nice studio, the complex is pretty with landscaping. Other guests were friendly, and the suite is great for one or two. The towels did have an old used smell though, and it was alright to wash plates and cutlery in the bathroom sink. Good location for North Shore. Princeville

The apt needs updated and cleaned. There were only two towels and two wash clothes with no laundry facility. I tried to call for more towels and wash clothes but no one returned my call. We were there 11 days.

My wife, Rachel, and I first visited Kauai in the early eighties and just got hooked. We bought our first vacation rental property in 2001 at Sandpiper Village in Princeville and spent about 5-1/2 months renovating it. We dreamed that one day we might be able to make Kauai our permanent home, and we were fortunate to actually make this happen in January of 2006.

We keep busy managing both properties, when we're all not dancing, playing softball, Pickleball, or at the beach. One of the advantages of living here on Kauai and offering vacation properties for rent is that any issues with units that may arise are addressed immediately and decisively through direct communication between the guests and me, the owner. There is no go-between management company in the loop to delay any action that may be required. It's a win-win for everyone.
