We loved everything about this cabin! Hosts were great! I especially enjoyed the owl who joined me while I lay in the jetted tub!

THE ROAD TO CABIN CAN BE ROUGH. I RECOMEND 4 WHEEL DRIVE. I WOULD NOT STAY THERE IF RAINING HARD BECAUSE OF THE ROAD. THE CABIN IS BEAUTIFUL.

Beautiful cabin very secluded and serene. Cabin had all necessary items in kitchen, lots of towels which is helpful if using hot tub. Sitting on the porch listening to nature was probably one of our favorite past times. Many thanks to our host for making this trip a forsure favorite.

This is a really nice and private cabin tucked away at the upper top of the mountain which was SO peaceful sitting on the porch in the mornings. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend!

Five Stars This place was definitely a true getaway retreat away from everything. Four-wheel drive is definitely recommended, and we knew that going in, so we brought our Jeep with us. It made the trip up to the cabin enjoyable and added to the whole mountain experience.If you are looking for a place to truly get away from everything, sit back, enjoy the peace and quiet of nature, and relax in the hot tub, then this is the place for you.The cabin gives you that secluded, peaceful feeling while still having all the comforts and necessities of life that we have gotten used to.It is also very close to the Blue Ridge Parkway, making it just a short drive to take in some beautiful mountain views and watch an amazing sunset — or sunrise, if you are an early riser.We truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend A World Apart to anyone looking for peace, privacy, and a real mountain getaway.

Everything is always great at this house. It’s nice and secluded and it’s wonderful to let the dogs roam around without leashes. However both times we’ve stayed, the steps and some of the porches are SUPER slippery. I realize it’s under a canopy and stays wet but a little pressure washing before check in, I’m sure can help with the slimy moisture build up. I was also a bit sad that the hummingbird feeders were gone because we thoroughly enjoyed them at the last visit.

The views were amazing!! If you want peace and quiet time to relax this is definitely the place. The home/ cabin is equipped with everything you need. Home is kept very well and clean. Plenty of entertainment and location is perfect, you’re away from everyone but once you go down the mountain there is everything to enjoy, great restaurants and can’t forget the elks, amazing creatures. We will be back for sure God willing, thank you for having us, was an amazing 2 weeks

We had the best time. The view was gorgeous. The cabin couldn't have been more perfect. The location was perfect- secluded, by itself. The area has so many activities within a short drive. No complaints whatsoever! We can't wait to return!

We had a wonderful time. It just we by too fast. We didn’t get to take advantage of the hot tub but it looked very inviting. A sofa with recliners and a Double recliner would be an awesome substitution for the sofa & loveseat and so much more comfortable. But no complaints here. Used 4WD coming up drive which was reminiscent of a fun park ride. We loved going up the driveway. My best friend and I found some time to get a little adult coloring in, which we love. Highly recommend this cabin.

Fantastic spot for a weekend getaway. Really peaceful and exactly what we needed to relax and refresh. The cabin is within walking distance of several trails, a waterfall and if you venture to the top of the road, you'll get incredible views of the rollercoaster at (now closed) Ghost Town Village. Would definitely stay here again.
