Attractive interior with good sized rooms. Front door leads directly onto a very minor road. Huge pool with magnificent large pool area BBQ etc in garden just around the corner. Gite adjoins the owner's house. Local host Lynne gets 5 stars. Peaceful location. Beautiful medieval villages in the area.
We found the house, gardens and pool area perfect for a family holiday. We know the area pretty well but the pool area and outdoor kitchen was probably the best we have found.
The house was tasteful decorated and the bedrooms very comfortable.
The house manager was helpful and was there for us if needed.

I’m so pleased that you enjoyed the house and garden, and had a good holiday, even though the weather wasn’t great. Thank you.
We had a great stay at this property, it was well equipped and furnished. All requests to the owners and property manager were answered promptly. The pool and surrounding countryside were beautiful with lots of local activities and places of interest to keep everyone from 8yrs old to 80yrs old happy! Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

Pretty location
The Barn , could be better equipped , a number of Teflon coated pans were badly scratched , so couldn’t use them . We all love cooking from scratch so hampered us somewhat .Lots of Mosquitos , had to request clean bedding after first week , high temps made for sticky nights . Not what you would expect ! Given the cost of the rental . Everything seemed a little tired . The garden and pool area saved it .

I was very sorry to hear that you felt that our beautiful gite could have been better equipped and specifically that a number of pans were scratched. I’m sorry that you didn’t raise this as an issue during your stay, as our gite manager would have been able to remedy the issue for you at the time. Thank you for pointing this out and it has now been addressed.
We provide high thread count bed linen included within the cost of the rental with beds made up upon arrival. However, unlike a hotel, we do not provide a laundry service during guest stays. There is a washing machine and rotary washing line provided for guest use. Our gite manager did also provide you with fresh bed linen when asked. We do want our guests to have a great holiday and try to accommodate all reasonable requests where possible.
I am sorry that you felt that everything ‘seemed a little tired’. We have a policy of continuous redecoration and replacement of worn equipment. Other guest comments suggests that this provides a clean and fresh experience which they have appreciated.
I am sorry that you found the weather too warm for your stay, like many other areas this part of France has been experiencing a heatwave. I am very glad to hear that you were able to enjoy good use of our pool and garden.
2 adultes + 6 ados (2 semaines fin juillet).

Fabulous holiday
Great facilities, fabulous pool and pool area with covered eating area and BBQ.
The house was very clean, spacious and comfortable - good ratio of bathrooms to bedrooms. Two separate sitting areas.
Very peaceful countryside, but when you do venture out, lots to see and do for all ages. We visited many astonishing well preserved medieval towns (even our teenage sons were impressed), canoed, walked, went bowling several nights and of course ate too much good food. Albi and Cordes are a must.
We loved it and did not want to leave.
Thanks

Beautiful holiday home.
My family and I had the most wonderful week in this lovely house.
The amenities and accommodation are excellent and the house is in an exceptionally lovely hamlet in marvellous countryside.
The quality of the kitchen equipment is very good, and the house is very clean and carefully maintained.
I would happily return and my family agrees with me.

Perfect propert for large group
From the initial response to our enquiry regarding availability to the prompt repayment of refundable breakage deposit the administrative professionalism regarding our stay was exemplary .
The property was ideal for our extended family ,the local Gite manager was perfect immediately supplying a baby steriliser on request once sanctioned and providing local knowledge when requested
The pool was well maintained
In short an ideal venue for a large family
Thank you to the Ribchesters
