Welcome to The Nest. An Original Smoky Mountain Cabin. This true log cabin This Cabin is secluded and off the beaten path. If that's what you are looking for then you found it! But the cabin is still close to everything! Best of both worlds! You get the authentic atmosphere of the Smokies with the rustic appeal, but all the modern amenities you could want. This cabin has been completely REHABBED with tons of custom features that give it the Smokies character with a modern touch. Sleeps up to 4, but great for that couple getaway or that perfect honeymoon. Two beautiful decks. One with all the privacy off the master and the hot tub with wooded and mountain views. Electric Fireplace (for Ambiance only, no heat) for that romantic/ cozy atmosphere.
A HUGE walk-in Couples Shower with rain head. This cabin has a history that still shows on the barn-style master bedroom door. It shows all the love from the previous guest who stayed at this cabin on their Honeymoon and left their mark when it was a Honeymoon cabin years ago. It's truly a ONE-OF-A-KIND! Easy to get to and a beautiful drive up the mountain with spectacular views of Mt LeConte on the way. (Only partial views of Mt LeConte from the front of cabin, wooded views from master bedroom deck and side deck) One lane, very well-maintained gravel lane to cabin. Secluded atop a beautiful mountain but just 7 miles from Gatlinburg. Less than 5 minutes off the Arts and Crafts Trail. 20 minutes to Pigeon Forge. The perfect location for your Smoky Mountain experience in a TRUE Smoky Mountain Cabin. THIS IS NOT A PET-FRIENDLY CABIN. THERE ARE NO PETS ALLOWED AT THIS CABIN RENTAL. Please be aware Internet is hit and miss up in the mountains We have tried to find better service but satellite Internet is all that is available at this time.

The cabin was clean and cozy! Upon arrival the drive up to the cabin was very scenic. The hot tub was also very clean and we loved the quiet! Would definitely stay here again!

Perfect location away from the hustle and bustle but close enough to get to it all. Cabin was clean and had all accommodations was very relaxing with no worries. Perfect having the hot tub after all the long hikes and walking to ease those sore muscles. Very quiet and peaceful. Host was amazing and responds quickly.

This place was just what we were looking for. It was close to Gatlinburg but also secluded enough to feel you were in a cabin in the mountains. The place was cozy and clean. We ate out every night but it looked like there was everything you needed if you ate there. We used the hot tub a lot and it was great. I highly recommend staying here.

This cabin was exactly what I was looking for! It is furnished perfectly to match the rustic feel of the cabin, but it is certainly not lacking in amenities! It is definitely one of the cleanest cabins I have ever stayed in. You can tell that the owner takes pride in their property. I will definitely be back!

Perfect doesnt describe it! We will be back, my husband said i have spoiled him and he will NOT stay anywhere else. Comfortable, cozy and really has everything you need. We wish we could have stayed longer, and will next time. The road is a true mountain road, so if you arent used to those.....go slow and enjoy!

This was the second time we rented this property. This property is a great place for a couple to unwind from the hectic pace that occurs in life. We felt that we were in secluded in a place even though there were out cabins on this road. The deck off the bedroom was amazing after sundown. The stars could be seen and nighttime sounds made it seem that you were all alone. For us the location was ideal because we like traveling the backroads as well is the places most people want to go to. One of the features my wife like was the washer and dryer. We usually spent seven days or more in the area. she is able to pack less clothes. We love the hot tube. There were some minor issues that came up. All I had to do call Kathleen's number, and the issue was addressed right away. I would highly recommend The Nest to anyone who looking for a place to unplug for a few days.
