On a 2013 trip to Michigan with our BELOVED dog, Hampton, we discussed the desire to have our own lake home to retreat from hectic schedules, enjoy one another and make lasting memories. We couldn't imagine not including her on these trips but quickly realized how difficult it was to find rentals open to pets (especially 160 lb ones).
In 2018 we decided to take the plunge and began looking at lakes/communities. We wanted a great community with lots of amenities and events; to be able to share it with others, and be a place the WHOLE family (pets and small children included) would enjoy.
We chose Innsbrook and after a thorough search found the perfect property did not already exist. So, we decided to build, painstakingly thinking through EVERY....LITTLE.... DETAIL, to ensure it was one-of-a-kind, versatile enough to host couples, families and groups of all ages and so well appointed it would leave guests wondering if it was really 'just' a vacation property.
And.... Hampton's Hideaway was born!
Innsbrook is a fantastic gated community with a perfect central location for friends from East and West to meet up. Also at just 30 min -1 hr from STL it's a great weekend getaway. Why not get right to the relaxation/fun rather than spending hours in the car?
Come for some R&R or all of the wonderful activities and amenities Innsbrook offers (golf, restaurants, scenic hiking trails, incredible newer pool complex w/ lifeguards (lap pool, restaurant/bar, children's pool and lazy river), state-of-the-art fitness center w/ classes, playground, countless lakes, beaches, fishing, water sports like kayaking and sailing, tennis, pickle ball, basketball, horse stables, library, dog park, fish feeding area, bird/wildlife watching, cycling (triathlon course) and a terrific calendar of events like the summer concert series, orchestra performances, Fall Festival and 4th of July Fireworks' display.
The options are endless and you'll leave dreaming of your next visit!

As a parent of little ones what a dream come true to show up and have the items you need already there. No time spent packing, unpacking and setting up.
And for your pets, we have couch covers, adjustable food and water bowls to accommodate even larger dogs, some toys and plenty of blankets.

Want to keep them contained on the deck? There is a keyed gate there too.
Want to be notified if someone opens a door? The alarm does that.
