Oceanfront ground floor haven with tropical charm

Hale Mahina A 102 is a ground floor one-bedroom, one-bathroom unit making it convenient to unload groceries and beach equipment and does not have A/C. The master bedroom features a comfortable King size bed with bamboo sliding doors for privacy. The bathroom features a newly renovated shower and is equipped with a new washer and dryer for added convenience. Enjoy direct oceanfront views, not only from the large spacious lanai, but also from the living room, kitchen, and dining area. The living room boasts beautiful dark hardwood floors with an open layout and includes a sofa sleeper. Preparing meals will be a pleasure in the pristine kitchen with beautiful new cabinets and stainless-steel appliances.

Recently, the unit was upgraded and furnished with beautiful modern Hawaiian décor throughout this home.

Hale Mahina Resort enforces a strict maximum occupancy policy. Please note all guests over the age of 2 years old is counted as a guest. This resort offers complimentary parking and does not charge a resort fee.

Located between Ka'anapali and Kapalua in West Maui, the Hale Mahina has lushly landscaped grounds including palms, hibiscus, plumeria and orchids. It is conveniently located minutes away from the best golf courses, shopping, dining, beaches and the famous historic town of Lahaina. Just steps from the condo, enjoy world class snorkeling or stroll the beach, known for attracting turtles. Refresh in the oceanfront pool, relax in the Jacuzzi, BBQ outdoors, or lounge under the swaying palm trees on the well-manicured oceanfront lawn.

All Reservations are Subject to the Following Occupancy Clause:
When you make your reservation with this condo at Hale Mahina, you agree that you have fully disclosed how many occupants will be traveling in your group. The maximum occupancy is mandatory and there are no exceptions. If you reserve this condo and there are more individuals that are found to be occupying the unit, you will be asked to vacate the property and all deposits are forfeited.

Great Place

This is one of my favorite places to stay. Small facility on a semi private beach. If you are looking for a quiet place close to the water this is it.

Amazing views and great location!

This unit has an amazing view, it is in a great location and we absolutely loved staying here during our Hawaiian vacation! We loved the private beach, getting daily visits from turtles, the pool and just having a great place to relax, lay down and watch the sunset. I especially liked how quiet and peaceful it was and how I could walk right out to the beach.

Steps from the ocean!

We didn’t even realize how close the lanai was from the ocean- literally steps. This property gave us a nice home base for the week. We were very happy with our choice.

Amazing location!

Just returned from a 8-night stay at this apartment. The view from the apartment and the easy access to the private beach was a great plus. We saw sea turtles and seals and was great to snorkel and paddleboard from the beach. The apartment was clean, cool and airy. The sofa bed was very comfortable and the location of the complex was close to amenities. Would recommend to others staying in this area.

Snorkeling right from the beach!

The weather was sublime. We loved the evening rain. The turtles the size of a VW bug on our little beach put on a show, and the monk seal who came to sun himself seemed right at home. If you want to just relax, THIS is the perfect place. I snorkeled every morning before breakfast and saw LOTS of colorful fish. Such a great place, and the condo was well stocked and perfectly located.

Very Nice Interior and "Back Yard"

The apartment was very nicely done with obviously recent updates. My only comment would be to replace the mattress on the bed as this one has seen its better days. Washer and dryer an very nice to have. There is no a/c but we were never uncomfortable. Having the pacific ocean 40 feet from our back door was wonderful and if we return to Maui we will consider staying there again.

Beautiful vistas

Whale watching, daily surfing, favorite turtles on our beach and spectacular sunsets. What more could you desire! Our hosts have a lovely condo with the views right out their large sliding doors! You couldn't get closer to the beach and still have the privacy and enjoyment of a quiet peaceful setting!. Hot tub and swimming pool, barbecue and lounge chairs all just a few steps away. And the bed is the most comfortable bed we've ever slept in while on a vacation! Everything spotless! Thank you to our hosts for a lovely stay!

Perfect location

This is our third stay at Hale Mahina and first time in this unit. Having a toddler being in the ground floor was amazing. The unit was very airy and private. A few beach towels didn’t look clean and the bed had a faint smell of body odor. The host was very quick to respond which we appreciated. We would stay in this unit again.

a whale of a time

As pictured, the lanai looks right out over the water. One can view whales while eating breakfast (or lunch, or early dinner) out on the lanai. We spend several hours whale watching from the property and had innumerable sightings, including a double breach. Kitchen is well stocked for cooking, and it is nice to have a washer/dryer in the unit. Great location - very close to a Times SM, and small grocer (Farmer's Market) just up the road. Do try the food trucks across from Times as well. Overall a wonderful stay.

Paradise on Maui

I can't imagine a more perfect place to have our family vacation! My husband, 10-year-old son and I had the most memorable experience at this condo. Steps away from the beach, on the first floor, and waking up every morning with a coffee and enjoying a glass of wine at sunset every evening on the patio. We even had a turtle handle hanging out on the sand out front! The condo is perfectly clean, updated and full of tropical style. Location is great close to some great restaurants and at short drive away from downtown Lahaina. I definitely would recommend this special place for someone looking to have a relaxing and tropical beach experience!

Amazing stay in west Mauii

The stay was very great and the backyard directly led to beach. They had basic snorkeling gear as well. Beach furniture and towels were all available. We could see turtle lying on the beach early mornings. Two negative points: both the mattress were not good and we woke up with back pain. Mattresses could be of better condition Snorkeling gear could have been cleaner - not sure if they were cleaned previously ( this didn’t matter as this was complimentary) Overall we enjoyed our stay and will definitely come back

Perfect Spot

We loved this spot! A small condo complex with its own secluded beach. This bottom floor unit was only steps from the water which was great for quick dips and snorkeling ventures. Overall we'd recommend and would stay again. There's no AC so it was a bit warm but the fans made it pretty manageable. The bed unfortunately was very uncomfortable as it was too soft causing my partner and I to sink into the middle of the bed. A new bed would make this place perfect!

Amazing view and access!

Beautifully decorated, well taken care of condo right on the beach! Quite a few conveniences, beach access, bbq, pool, parking, trash disposal, and walking distance to many shops and food trucks (under a mile) The kitchen was wonderfully stocked with everything you'd need for most meals. It had some beach toys, boogie board, cooler, and an umbrella for use. We especially loved seeing the gorgeous HUGE hibiscus right outside our patio. It was whale season so we got to see many whales breaching as well as turtles right on the beach and in the water close to us. The snorkeling around the condo is fun as well. We love A102 at Hale Mahina and would love to return soon.

Home Away From Home

Stayed with my husband and 7 year old daughter. This by far exceeded all of our wildest dreams. It truly felt like home and no amenity was spared. There were even sand toys and floaties for the kiddo! Kitchen was well stocked and we felt very comfortable preparing many meals. We brought the outdoor dining table into the grass each night for dinner! Having the ground level made it very easy to watch the kiddo play in the ocean- she likes being able to bring her toys onto the grass and then jump in the ocean. Each night we had several turtles to watch.
