This lovely cottage style home is located in a well established neighborhood in downtown Hazard. It is perfect for guests coming into town for work, family gatherings or a weekend away. The home will comfortably sleep up to 7 guests & pets are welcome too! This location is 10 minutes to ARH, 5 minutes to HCTC, & surrounded by areas for hunting, fishing & trail riding. The home is also located within an hours drive to the Red River Gorge, several lakes, ATV parks, mountain bike & hiking trails.
The Space:
This home was built in the 1930's and has lots of character and charm. The decor is fitting to the cottage style and guests will love the coziness and comfort in every room! This home offers three bedrooms and one bath. Each of the two guest rooms has a queen bed. The master bedroom has a king bed and a twin bed. Thus, allowing up to seven quests to sleep comfortably. A favorite area among guests is the screened-in back porch which is the perfect spot for relaxing, enjoying morning coffee and gathering with family and friends. The house has a small side yard and the driveway will park up to six cars. The neighborhood is very quiet and calm with no distractions.
Guest Access:
Guests will have access to all areas of the home except for the attic, basement, and garage.
The Neighborhood:
This home is located in one of Hazard's oldest, well established neighborhoods right in the heart of downtown Hazard. ARH Hospital and the Hazard Technical and Community College are less than 10 minutes away. And, Hazard's famous Pantry Shelf Donuts are at the foot of the hill less than 1 minute away! Quick and easy access to both major highways 80 and 15. Not recommended for trucks pulling large trailers.
Getting Around:
Great location to other areas. 30 minute drive to Whitesburg, Hyden, Hindman, and Jackson. 45 minutes to Prestonsburg. 1 hour drive to Pikeville. During winter weather the roads to this home are well maintained and within the city limits.
Other Things to Note:
My home is perfect for traveling professionals looking for a short term rental and it’s also great for family gatherings. Unfortunately, I do not rent rooms, you have the entire house to yourself. Guests enjoy cooking their own meals, having a comfortable bed and having plenty of space to relax. The house is easily accessible, however; there are three steps to the front door. The wifi works great and you should be able to get a cell phone call out with no problem.
Interaction with Guests:
I don't usually meet guests in person, but I follow their lead.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful house! The home itself was spotless, well-maintained, and full of charm. One of our favorite features was the lovely back porch—perfect for relaxing in the morning with coffee or winding down in the evening. The location was central and convenient, with easy access to nearby lakes and only about two hours from both the Kentucky Horse Park and Natural Bridge State Resort Park. It made for a perfect base for day trips and outdoor adventures.Would definitely stay here again—highly recommended!
The screened in back porch was the perfect gathering place to spend time with family! So much character and detail in the decor! We hope to visit again next year!
This is my third time staying here. I will alway stay here anytime I come to Hazard. It is becoming my home away from home.

Thank you Dalphine! I love hosting you because you are such a pleasure to work with. I appreciate your business and hope you will continue to visit for years to come.
Stayed here during our family reunion weekend with our adult children and had a wonderful time. The house was exactly as pictured and was clean. It was nice to have a whole house to stay in rather than hotel rooms. This provided us time to play games and enjoy each other's company. We will definitely stay here again!
Since our last stay, there is a new couch and new television in the living room. The updated pillows and throw blankets make it feel even cozier as the weather turns colder. Beautiful fall colors on the drive in and out as well.
The house was very nice, everything you needed. Very clean. Back porch was a major plus. Neighborhood was very quiet. Will defenitly use again.
