Located along the sugar white sands of West Beach in Gulf Shores, Alabama, this single level, beach front vacation home provides an amazing view of the Gulf of Mexico! The fhouse has four bedrooms, two baths, and a great porch facing the Gulf with a covered portion for shade. Inside has an open floor plan blending the fully stocked kitchen, cozy dining, and comfortable living room areas into a great space for all your guests. The living room and all bedrooms also have a TV and internet is provided throughout the home as well. For more peace of mind and an additional fee, you can also bring your pet with you! The house is a short drive to downtown Gulf Shores with many activities to choose from like the Hangout, Waterville, The Zoo, Putt Putt, Go Karts, and many restaurants for dining as well as places to socialize and just have a great time. The Hideaway Beach House located down West Beach Boulevard in Gulf Shores would be a great pick for your beach vacation!

Thank you for a wonderful holiday. We absolutely love the Hideaway and each time we walk up those steps, we feel like we are home. The view of the sea is spectacular and we spend most of our hours on that deck! Thank you, also, for the new Keurig coffeemaker. Thank you for being pet-friendly and being so easy to schedule our vacations with you. Really means a lot. We are big fans and hope to be able to rent the Hideaway several times each year in the future. Thank you again for our wonderful experience.

Perfect getaway

We absolutely loved the charm of the beach house. I didn't give a 5 star rating solely based on the repairs it needed. The cleanliness was top notch and the communication from booking to checkout was perfect. This house is not for everyone, but if you want a REAL beach house experience, this is it! I'll take the hideaway over a condo any day! And our son's dog gives it 5 bones!! We were not disappointed!!!!

Great Waterfront property

Great location and tons of beds/rooms. Walkable to almost everything. The sun deck was the best part, kept you off the beach and away from people but with a great view.

The location was great for our spring break trip.

We enjoyed our stay. The house is quite old and showing its age. The bedrooms were nice but the family room furniture is worn out and should be replaced. The back deck and patio were awesome for our group.

Property was very clean and inside was in good shape. Only reason not a five star rating is outside needed a little wood upkeep and painting. Did notice a few wall plugs didn't work and advised the property manager and they were very prompt in addressing the problem. Will definitely stay at this property and with this host in the future.

Back deck had nails coming out and wood coming up. Could use a little fixing up. House was clean. Reported a TV not working and response was fast but wasnt fixed before we left. Would stay again for location and price was not bad.

Pictures were from several years ago before deferred maintenance. I should have gotten what I paid for or paid for what I got. On a positive note, AC, water pressure and pillows were good.
Advertised a screened in porch. Apparently they decided to tear it out. One reason I rented this house.
Both bathrooms had peeling and torn wallpaper. No TP holder in one. Sharp edge on one towel bar. And if it says it sleeps 12, give me 12 sets of towels, not 8.
Mold at AC. They need to insulate the unit, replace drywall. The kilzed over all the AC vents because of mold.
Rotten soffits and fascia.

Fantastic location

You couldn't get a better location on the beach. It was super close to the water and close to amenities. The house has taken a beating over the years, so if you're looking for a posh stay this isn't it. If all you want is the beach and ocean front this is the perfect place.

Great Location!

This home is in a fabulous location, sitting out beyond surrounding houses with unimpeded views. I hope the owner plans to put some money into repairs and updates, as it desperately needs both.
