Welcome to Casita Azul Baja, your home away from home!
Steps from the sandy beaches of the Sea of Cortez, this beautifully furnished home is replete with local Mexican artwork and immaculately maintained. Located in the highly sought after Founders Neighborhood of Loreto Bay, you'll be within walking distance of the coffee shop, community pool, lap pool, wine bar, French bistro, library, art gallery, golf course, convenience store, and many wonderful restaurants. At the nearby hotel, our guests can rent kayaks, mountain bikes, snorkeling gear, and paddle boards, as well as schedule deep sea fishing, diving, and whale watching. 24 hour security adds peace of mind in this serene, safe, and lovingly landscaped community where residents are known to leave their bikes, kayaks, and even front doors unlocked. Pedestrian-friendly, you'll be far more likely to see golf carts and bicycles rather than cars meandering along the paseo.
This two bedroom, two bath home is perfect for couples and sleeps four to six, with separate sleeping quarters upstairs and downstairs for added privacy. Each floor has its own spacious master bathroom with soaking tub, dual sinks, walk-in shower, and private water closet. There are plenty of storage options with dual armoires in each bedroom, as well as a small workspace in the upstairs bedroom for those who may need a quiet spot to take care of business while visiting. The upstairs sleeping quarters has its own private entry and two double beds.
From the beautiful courtyard with soothing water fountain, to the third-story viewing tower, there are plenty of gathering areas for entertaining or simply finding a quiet nook for your morning cup of coffee. The second floor rooftop deck offers an outdoor kitchen and grill with dining table, pergola, and string lights for added ambience. A seating area with lounge chairs offers a relaxing spot to enjoy a margarita or glass of wine while watching the kaleidoscopic sunsets over the Sierra de la Giganta mountains and 19th hole of the golf course.
The kitchen is well-appointed with everything you need to make yourself feel at home. Three sets of French doors in the dining room add lots of natural light and fresh air. Plenty of dvds are on hand should you find the need for entertainment, but you'll likely be taking advantage of the spectacular weather with a trip to Isla Coronado's white sand beaches, snorkeling, driving into the mountains to visit the Misión San Francisco Javier, or playing the only TPC golf course in all of Mexico at the Rees Jones-designed Danzante Bay, just a few miles to the south.
Pre-arrival grocery shopping and mid-stay housekeeping services are available upon request at an additional charge.
