Schmutzige Unterkunft mit Schimmel

Versprochen wurde uns ein modernes Bungalow, bekommen haben wir ein schmutziges Zimmer in einer großen Mietkaserne mit Schimmel im Bad und der Dusche und einem Ausblick auf ein zerfallenes Dach. Nach unserer Ankunft mussten wir unsere Wohnung zunächst reinigen. Es waren neben Schmutz und Schimmel viele schwarze Haare zu finden. Sogar auf der Bettwäsche und den Kissen in Form von "Büscheln". Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter ist unmöglich. Sie reagieren nach Anbieten einer nicht zufriedenstellenden Option (Reisegutschein für deren Unterkünfte im Wert von 135€) nicht mehr. Wir mussten vorzeitig abreisen, um uns der Gesundheitsgefährdung mit dem Schimmel nicht länger auszusetzen. Da Holiday Suites immer noch nicht auf unsere Nachrichten reagiert, müssen wir nun andere Wege einschlagen. Schade - so haben wir uns unseren Sommerurlaub nicht vorgestellt.

Leider nicht sehr auber

Leider war das (erste, eigentlich gebuchte) Zimmer nicht sauber. Es lag ein Wattestäbchen unter dem Bett und ein Damenoberteil (Shirt) zwischen Bettmatratze und Wand. Das zeugt von der Gründlichkeit des Reinigungspersonals :-(. Haben uns dann ersprechend per Mail an den Service gewand und haben noch am selben Abend ein anderes (größeres) Zimmer als Entschädigung erhalten. Hier stand ein Sofa drin, was aussah, als hätte sich ein Hund ordentlich an dem Kunstleder vergangen. Dafür erhielten wir dann vom Personal vor Ort eine kleine Decke zum darüberlegen. Auf den Fluren ist Teppich verlegt, der leider sehr viele und sehr große Flecken hatte, was bei Ankunft nicht wirklich einladend ist. Alles in allem werden wir sehr wahrscheinlich nicht wiederkommen.

Perfekter Kurzurlaub

Wir haben wundervolle Tage in westende verbracht. Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber und geräumig. Es hat nichts an Ausstattung gefehlt und die Terrasse mit Sitzbank war perfekt für ein gemütliches Frühstück und Abendbrot! Zum Strand waren es nur knapp 10/15min zu Fuß. Wir hatten die Räder dabei, damit ging es natürlich viel schneller! Super Location für Radtouren sowohl Richtung Ost als auch West. Ebenso zu empfehlen ist die Küstentram! Wir haben uns einen Tag dafür Zeit genommen und so die komplette Küste für 7,90€ stress-/ autofrei erkunden können. Ich werde dort nicht das letzte Mal gebucht haben! ☺️

Zu teuer für das Angebot

Das Studio war wie im Inserat beschrieben, jedoch zu teuer. Bei der Ankunft war das Studio nicht ganz sauber, auf den Bettlaken waren sogar lange schwarze Haare. Man hört jedes Mal, wenn die Tür des Stockwerkes geöffnet/geschlossen wird, was mitten in der Nacht nicht sehr angenehm ist. Insgesamt kommt mir das Angebot wie bei Ryanair vor: auf den ersten Blick günstig, aber man muss für alle Annehmlichkeiten wie Tücher etc. extra bezahlen.
