    There is a big language barrier getting around Bangkok. Some may speak English. You are on your own getting around. So much traffic everywhere you travel by taxi or car. The local trains can help you get around a bit better.

    Here’s your text with corrected grammar, spelling, and smoother phrasing, while preserving your tone: --- The place is in desperate need of a deep clean. It’s not that it was dirty when we checked in—it was definitely cleaned after the previous guests—but it’s covered in food marks, dirty fingerprints, grime, and stains. I believe that 2–3 hours of good scrubbing would fix all the problems and make the place enjoyable. It also requires many little fixes, which shouldn’t take more than a few hours: Bathroom – Broken towel rail and nowhere to hang a towel. The shower holder is broken, so even though the water pressure is fantastic, you can’t really use the shower because it sprays water all over the bathroom. The toilet seat is wonky. Kitchen – The jug only works if you punch it. All the kitchen appliances are so dirty we were afraid to touch them. Cabinet door is broken. Lounge – The couch is so stained we had to cover it. The door card doesn’t work, so you need to use a key, which goes into the lock at a very awkward angle, meaning you need a free hand to open the door. Bedroom – The bed is hard as a brick, but that’s normal in Thailand, so no complaints there. One pillow is fine, but the other is so old and manky it has lost all its shape. To be honest, I wouldn’t stay here again unless the place was cleaned properly. Positives – The air conditioning works well, and the water pressure is great.

    Good apartment

    Apartments is on the top floor of a well looked after block. Within a few minutes are an assortment of places to eat. We had a slight problem gaining entry to the apartment when we arrived, but a quick call soon sorted it out. You need to download an app to book the pool and gym, so a little more I formation in the apartment about this would be helpful. We had a good stay here, and found it an ideal base for us, would certainly use again when back in the area.

    Pluses and Minuses

    The apartment was clean and secure, the price was very low, the gym and pool were very nice, and for us the location was good(near our son, who is living in Bangkok). However, for Americans and Europeans, I believe, there are two significant drawbacks. The bed was rock hard, even with a thin mattress pad which the owner had provided, and the air conditioning was not adequate for the April heat and humidity. After many hours, the temperature was still around 80 degrees Fahrenheit. So, those are the pluses and minuses we found.
