Great location beautiful home

Great home, great location. Would definitely stay here again. Only complaints which I may have missed in the listing, there are no sheets or towels. Also the pool is not heated and pretty small.

Beautiful Property

This is a beautiful property in a great location. The home is wonderfully designed for a family vacation. Check in was simple, there was plenty of parking. The pictures honestly don't do the property justice. We had a group of 18 and had plenty of room. I would definitely come back.

of space for three generations. Communications were excellent between me and the property manager. Issues were quickly resolved. A couple of suggestions areo clarify on VRBO site is the check-in time. The site says 3pm when it could be anywhere from 3 to 6pm. It is challenging traveling cross country. Another is some plastic ware for leftovers.

Great House

We originally rented a house in Oak Island, NC which thanks to the hurricane fell through. We were able to find Ocean Current and were blown away by the pictures. The house was even better in person. The finishes in the house are gorgeous. The house was clean and we didn't have any issues while we were there. It is just a short walk across the street to the beach and in walking distance to the grocery store. The owner even stopped by to check on us during the week. I definitely recommend this house.

The house was in a perfect location. The pictures on the website were spot on. The house was perfect for a large group and each of the rooms having its own dedicated bathroom was a real plus. Would defiantly stay here again!

Perfect location for the beach

This place needs a paint job and a deep cleaning but otherwise was perfect. Great location for the beach and the house across the street plays music for the beach from 11-5 each day which makes it fun. The grill was lacking and we never could get the sound system to work.

Good and bad

The house is very modern and has an excellent beach view location. However, the property was not fully cleaned upon arrival despite prior assurances from the property managers. Dirty towels and linens along with cigarettes were found upon arrival. The pool was also unusable for the first 2.5 days of our stay. We did appreciate the attention and response from the property management company but simple inspections and more cleaning staff would have prevented this. Our family spent the first day of vacation buying cleaning supplies and cleaning the property to our standards. This should never happen at a high end rental property. The area is extremely loud and active at night. However once the cleaning issues were resolved and pool was fixed, we had an enjoyable time. The house itself is well built and beautiful but won’t hold up if they don’t clean it. Great beach location was the winner for us.

Great house, needs more cleaning

Property Management was great and responsive & the house is incredible. However, it was not cleaned well when we arrived. There must have been teenagers staying before because there were beer bottles everywhere (inside drawers, closets, under furniture and in pool). Floors made our feet black within minutes. Bring your own pots and pans - cabinets are bare and pots are terrible. Hopefully management will improve housekeeping standards for the next rental. Location is awesome, house is spacious and perfect for everyone to have their own space. I would stay again... I would just bring my own kitchen :) lol

Beautiful house - busy location

We loved the house - plenty of room to spread out & the front porch was a favorite! However, the house is in a very busy part of Cherry Grove and it was quite noisy - especially at night. The access to the beach was a positive since it was right across the street and the pool was just the right size for our family.

Pretty Dirty

The house is very pretty and spacious. It worked perfectly for our group but it was filthy. It was definitely not cleaned in accordance with Covid compliance’s. We had to have the cleaners come back and we also had to buy our own cleaning supplies to keep up with it during the week. They should have supplied a broom and vacuum cleaner. For a house that size it’s gonna get dirty with a big group and need some upkeep. We should not have to purchase our own broom And mop. The grill was also disgusting. The house was not well equipped and only had 1 wine glass. The ice maker was broken as well. The rental company was responsive to our requests but I generally thought it was disappointing for the money we spent- especially since it seems like it’s brand new. There’s a lot of potential but definitely needs more attention.

Memorial Day Weekend Getaway

The house itself was very nice and the interior very clean. Beach was accessible and close. Grocery store was also close by. Wifi worked well. Great balcony and kitchen area. It worked well for our group. We enjoyed our stay. Areas to improve: sheets and linens are not provided and cost extra. That should be made more clear on the listing. Outdoor grill gratings were very dirty and only one side of the burners worked. Pool was dirty (perhaps because of the dust from the construction going on next door). Cleanliness would have been 5 stars but took away one star for the pool and grill. It's in a commercial area and so can be loud in the morning (construction workers start banging at 7am) and motorcycles or cars revving their engines cruising the strip at night. I assume once the house next door is built the construction noise will no longer be an issue.
