This Hollywood Regency inspired home is in a breathtaking setting and is perfect for a small friend or family group. It would provide the perfect place to rest after outdoor adventures on the beautiful mountain or to enjoy the thriving Chattanooga downtown scene.
From the front door you walk into a light, open living space with a stone fireplace, a plush seating area, an original hand painted gold accent wall, TV and mini bar.
The master bedroom features a fabulous queen bed, gorgeous furnishings, a closet, dresser and a TV. There is a bathroom off the master bedroom with a soaker tub and separate shower. The second bedroom features another comfy queen bed with more gorgeous bedding a large dresser and closet. This bedroom has a sliding door that opens to its own little deck that leads to the backyard.
The kitchen is fully equipped and has a family sized fridge and an electric glass-top range with microwave above it. In the kitchen there is a breakfast nook with comfortable bench seating and extra chairs to seat up to 6.
The sunroom is around the corner from the stone fireplace in the living room and has a cozy loveseat that faces a sliding door that opens up to the back deck. There are games on open shelves in the sunroom. The back deck also connects to an exterior door to the master bedroom.
There is a third bedroom with a twin bed plus trundle bed. This bedroom would also make a great office; it is equipped with a desk facing an amazing widow and the wifi is great.
The second bathroom is outside the second bedroom with a combination tub and shower.
The fireplace contains an electric fireplace insert for comfort and safety. The yard around the home has a large fire pit for bonfires and is surrounded by stone walls built in the 1930's.
There will be a guest manual available at the house with all the information you need for your stay plus itineraries, restaurant suggestions, etc.

Girls get away

A get away for myself and two daughters. Close to home for all, great location for all things Chattanooga. Lovely accommodations we felt at home. Good communication with providers. We will return.

Great location

Loved the location -- 5 minutes from downtown, walkable to trails. House is super cute with anything you need. Only thing that could make I better is a covered porch off the back to enjoy the outdoors when it is raining. Highly recommend!

New Years Trip

Wow! We absolutely loved this place. From the moment we walked in to a Christmas tree in the living room, we knew we had picked the right place to stay! We are something of Chattanooga 'veterans'- visiting often, but we usually stay in a downtown hotel. This property was a perfect blend of staying on the mountain yet being close to downtown. We were able to get anywhere downtown within 15 minutes. The kitchen was well appointed- Katie seems to have thought of everything you'll need to cook dinner at home. My only 'complaint' would be that the pictures on the listing do not do near the justice the view of the valley at night deserved (we were there in the winter) and of the sunrise. Breathtaking! We got to see all kinds of fireworks from the warmth of our house on New Years Eve- it was so fun and beautiful. I honestly cannot wait to go back. Hard to be flawless- and no experience is - but this was close!

Our family loves the outdoors, good food, and great experiences!
We have recently taken trips across country to Colorado as a family and spring break in Los Angeles. In the last few years, my husband and I have travelled to Kauai Hawaii, Merida in the Yucatan and New York City.

This home has surroundings like no other! We knew that nature would restore our guests every moment they stay here. The large picture windows give you the ability to enjoy your surroundings from the comfort of the couch. The close proximity to the city of Chattanooga is so convenient and gives you the best of both worlds. The design we chose brings a luxury and uniqueness to this mountain home that you won't find anywhere else. I enjoy hosting guests in our lovely home and look forward to creating a one of a kind vacation experience.

What makes this property unique

You will be surrounded by boulders and trees that are adjacent to national forest. You will also be 12 minutes to downtown Chattanooga. You will have hiking and biking trails right out your front door. The views in the winter are amazing showing the entire city of Chattanooga and the fall colors are breathtaking. Historic sights are also within walking distance for history buffs and more scenic views.
