We fell in love with Collioure two years ago : we love the mountains and the port, the artistic connections and the lovely history of anchovy fishing, the cooperative winery in the old convent, the walks from the windmill through an olive grove to the art gallery; the Catalan culture, the wonderful commitment of the town to live music, dance and children's entertainment.

We come from the rainy north of England so were drawn to the light and air quality in Collioure. We wanted an outside room not just a small balcony which only caught the sun for a short time of the day. Here we have a little courtyard at the rear of the property, which catches the sun in the morning, to take our coffee; and a large terrace for dining, or sitting and reading, which catches the sun all day . It has uninterrupted views of the mountains and you can look down at the port too. It had been refurbished to a really high standard and we are delighted with it, its location, its facilities, the lovely complex, the helpful guardien. We have equipped the kitchen well: we like to cook and put in good comms: internet, Smart TV: so for a longer break, you can really relax and feel at home in the apartment
