A lovely house in a peaceful location

Comfortable and relaxing holiday in a rural location but within easy driving distance of towns, if needed. Owners were friendly, helpful and discrete. Pool was wonderful and kept us all cool in some very hot weather. Highly recommended.

Mixed feelings about this property. The house is clean but has a cockroach infestation while there. Cockroaches (carfard) were seen crawling around on 4 time, traps caught more. Most were in the very small kitchen. Faeces trails in the downstair bedroom too. The owner indicated we were the first to tell her. I would not return without seeing proof of pest controller treatment. This spoiled the holiday for us as we had to spend 3 days cleaning our own belongings to ensure we didn't bring any back and infest our own homes. The pool is lovely and the children greatly enjoyed it. Ours swim well enough to cope with the deep water. Communications with the host was difficult as 2 messages on the website were not responded to. A phone call from a french speaking relative resolved the issue.

Super (malgré une semaine de pluie)

Nous avons passé une super semaine dans ce gîte verdoyant, impeccablement tenu par Arlette et Philippe. Nous les remercions encore pour leur disponibilité, leur adaptabilité (voyager avec un bébé de 3 mois peut être compliqué ^^') et leur gentillesse. Lieux calme et gîte au dessus de nos attentes

Gîte très propre et très bien équipé (vaisselles, lave vaisselle, micro-onde, four, bouilloire, cafetière, wifi, télé, salle de jeux, et pour couronner le tout la PISCINE interieure!!). Beaucoup de place à l'extérieur, les poules et leurs oeufs sont avec!, possibilité de randonnée. Des propriétaires très gentils et discrets pendant notre séjour. Merci!!

Fantastic location and amazing pool

The setting is lovely and so peaceful. The pool was brilliant - so clean and well kept and big enough to swim lengths and teach the children to swim. It was perfect for families, with large garden, chickens (that we loved feeding and collecting eggs from everyday), a games room with table tennis and table football, plus the pool. The host was lovely and, although he doesn’t speak English, brought a friend to translate for us when we arrived so we knew where everything was. We could not have asked for more - such a lovely stay!

Les enfants sont les bienvenus (lit parapluie, vélos à disposition,grand espace pour jeux extérieurs...)Le gîte est à la campagne donc au calme et la ville du mans n'est pas loin (20 mn) pour pleins d’activités.
