Nestled in an expansive private coconut grove, Aralia offers the best of comfort and style. Comprised of Aralia House, Garden Cottage and Pool Cottage, Aralia is a 6 bedroom, 4.5 bath Dunmore Town retreat. With an additional 2 outdoor showers, the property is designed with island living in mind. Situated on over half an acre stretching from Dunmore St. to Colebrooke St., Aralia offers plenty of outdoor space to enjoy.

With interiors designed to embody the charm of island life, Aralia captures the spirit of Harbour Island. Perfect for a group of couples, two families, or a generational family trip, the property is designed with an eye for comfort. We've included little touches to make your stay special. Indoors we offer great books and nooks for a quiet read, smart TVs for streaming your favorites. Enjoy our new outdoor bar and pool, and outdoor lounge areas.

We love to encourage the togetherness the property offers, however, parents we ask that you do not rent this property for your kids unattended. This is our family home and while we enjoy sharing it with guests, we kindly ask that you treat it as you would your own family home.

Unique to our property, Aralia House and the new Aralia Pool Cottage each have living rooms and full kitchens making traveling with friends and family relaxing and convenient. It gives you the ability to gather together, while maintaining quiet spaces.

The property affords privacy while at the same time our location offers easy access to all that Harbour Island has to offer. Located two minutes from the bay and two minutes by golf cart to the famous Pink Sand Beach (access next to Ocean View). Stroll to Harbour Island's charming shops, enjoy a sunset cocktail by the bay, and walk to dinner at some of the finest restaurants on the island.

Our location offers the best of both worlds, from beach to bay.

Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
Please arrange with our Property Manager to return the keys to her prior to departure. Do not leave the keys with anyone else. Lost keys will be subject to a replacement fee of $100/set of keys.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
*No rentals for unaccompanied high school or college kids. Parents must be staying on property. This is NOT a Spring Break party house. Rules apply.
*POOL SAFETY NOTICE: Pool is not fenced in. No diving. By completing your booking you acknowledge that you and your guests swim at your own risk.
*No smoking, vaping, drugs indoors or out. No pets. If detected by house staff, security deposit will be 100% non-refundable, and eviction possible.

We had the best experience at the Aralia House!! We had 4 couples celebrating a 40th birthday and there was plenty of space (plus 2 extra rooms!).The property itself is huge - maybe one of the larger properties on the island, with 3 houses, a pool area, and a huge grassy hill which would have been awesome if we had kids in tow. Katherine the owner was the most communicative and helpful host I've ever worked with, and Laurel, the concierge was incredibly helpful while we were there! The daily housekeeping was a fantastic and unexpected touch for a house rental. The decor was elevated and gorgeous and everyone agreed the beds were fantastic! Location was central to everything - truly this house was 10/10. We hope to be back!!

We had the most wonderful stay at Aralia House! It was the perfect setup for two families plus babysitter in the 3rd cottage. The location was great and we loved the easy access to the beach. Ms. V’s beach bar and chair setups were right at the access which made it really easy. The grounds of the home are expansive and gave us plenty of room for the kids to play. The house manager Laurel was great to work with before and during our stay. The housekeeper Rose was lovely! Having daily cleaning was such a wonderful benefit. The kitchens had everything we needed and Laurel set us up with a wonderful concierge, Lorria, who stocked groceries before our stay. She is also available to assist with transfers and other planning needs. This was one of the best family vacations we’ve had and we look forward to visiting again!

Christmas on Harbour Island

Our family for four had a wonderful holiday at Aralia House on Harbour Island. We were so comfortable and the house was perfect accommodations for the four of us. Lovely Getaway Cottage

Dream House

Aralia House is an absolutely beautiful property, and we so enjoyed our week there. The property was exactly as advertised and more. The house/property was spacious, very well kept, and well-appointed with so many little special extras. The outdoor living/entertaining/dining space was phenomenal and truly epitomized outdoor living at its best. The house staff made sure everything was just perfect with daily housekeeping and yard service. Rose, our housekeeper, went above and beyond even placing fresh flowers throughout the house. The property location is perfect, minutes from the shops, restaurants, resorts, and just a short golf cart ride to the beach. The host was so easy to work with and went above and beyond to meet our needs. We hope to return soon!

We loved Harbour Island & the Aralia House! Laurel, the house manager, & Rose, the house keeper, were super nice & helpful! The beds in the main house were comfy & all decor was beautiful (Serena & Lilly). The location was central to everything. The back yard is lush & expansive. In town gem

Our family of 4 (two adults, two boys) stayed at Aralia House for a week in March. We had a wonderful time. The house was immaculate and is beautifully decorated. The house manager, Laurel, was very helpful and responsive. The house is convenient to everything. Next door is a coffee shop and the grocery store is right down the road. We rented a golf cart for the week and spent most days on the beach renting chairs from Tee Jays. We stayed in a few nights and barbecued—sitting out back in the coconut grove eating dinner is so relaxing. The covered porch out back is the perfect place to relax post beach and read or have a cocktail. I highly recommend Aralia House!

Aralia House was lovely: well-maintained, chicly decorated with a wonderful manager.

We had a great visit to Harbor Island. Located in town, diagonally across from Bahama House, Aralia House is simply but beautifully restored and decorated. The home is well-appointed and has an outstanding manager and housekeeper who were very helpful in locating anything extra we requested, from cart rentals to a private chef. Highly recommend.

We love Aralia House!

We had a wonderful time at Aralia House! The home is decorated beautifully, furnishings are lovely. The outdoor space is perfect for entertaining and relaxing. The yard is so much bigger than imagined and perfect for young kids to run around and explore. My daughter loved the outdoor swing. The inside is charming and cute and quintessential island vibe. The beds are very comfortable as well which makes a huge difference while traveling. Communication with the property manager was stellar. Daily housekeeping was the icing on the cake, as well. Just a lovely stay – – hope to be back to beautiful Harbour Island very soon!
