Along with its old world charm, this cottage is tastefully decorated and fitted with upscale linens and towels.

Guests can enjoy sitting on the front porch, on the patio in the backyard or the elevated porch of the upper floor.
Your golf cart can be parked on the quiet side street of this corner lot, or directly within the property fence.

The cutest cottage

The house had everything I needed for a relaxing stay. It was so cute and cozy and I loved sitting on the porch and having breakfast everyday. I would recommend it to others and stay here again!

Great rental

We loved this place. Very comfortable amount of space and very clean. The kitchen was perfect for making anything we wanted to make - dinner, smoothies, coffee, etc. Great location - we had a golf cart but you can certainly go without one. Hosts were very helpful and responsive. Our Harbour Island vacation was perfect in a large part due to this great rental. Overall, I recommend the rental as much as possible!

Nicely kept cottage

This is a darling little cottage for two. We would have liked to have a tv. I didn’t think to ask when I booked. Although it was charming the location on a very busy street corner was not good. It was very loud starting at 7:30 in the morning until late at night. The gas golf carts are very loud and this seems to be the main thru way for all the workers.

Charming historic cottage in Dunmore Town

Fantastic stay at Dunmore House in Dunmore Town. Great location to walk to town although we did rent a golf cart too. Historic cottage very cosy and we had all the amenities we needed: kitchen, WiFi, beach towels, outdoor shower, AC, nice linens, beautiful & comfy couch/chairs and gorgeous Bahamian decor. Our favorite spot was the front porch where we sat and read and watched all the local traffic go by. Lush tropical gardens on property. Host Celeste was communicative, professional, and responded immediately via WhatsApp whenever we had a question. She is very sweet and forthcoming with information to make your stay enjoyable and seamless. Island is charming, laid back and quiet. Many days we walked Pink Beach, a 3-mile stretch, without a sole in site. Recommend Dunmore House without reservation, especially if you want to stay in a historic cottage instead of a hotel/resort and have the option to prepare your own food if you wish. Great 5-star restaurants, coffee houses & shops within walking distance to cottage. We will be back! Island is a gem!

Easy, convenient location. Enjoyed being a quick walk away to Cocoa for coffee each morning! We had one small water issue but was resolved quickly by the host who was very responsive before and during our stay. FYI the ceilings are a little low for anyone that is tall! Rooms were clean with extra towels and beach towels! Thanks for a great stay at Harbour Island!

Harbour Island is all it's splendor highlight is most certainly it's beautiful pink sands beach. Just a 5 minute golf cart ride from Dunmore House, you can rent beach chairs from any of the beach vendors at the public entrances, and lounge on your chair, read a book while the kids play and soak up some sun.

What makes Dunmore House so special is it being an historic cozy little cottage in the heart of Harbour Island. It is centrally located in town in close proximity to food stores and restaurants.
