Gorgeous house with excellent view

The way the house is situated makes you feel you're there on your own with the beautiful mountains. The village is nice and quiet as well, with a small shop with lovely cakes and the best restaurant Le Bijou!

Alles wat het moet zijn

De chalet van 1981 ligt op in het (vakantie)dorp Villard Reculas bij het grote skigebied van Alpes d'Huez, de loopafstand naar en van de piste is kort en als er voldoende sneeuw ligt wellicht ook met toerski's te bereiken. Het huis ligt op een zuidhelling een stukje hoger dan de weg tussen bomen. Het terras is dus erg zonnig, het uitzicht prachtig op de bergketen over het dal heen, de sterrenhemel ongeëvenaard. Maar je moet dus wel wat (wankele) treden naar boven doen. Goed om te weten voor degenen die slecht ter been zijn (of geblesseerd raken). Binnen is er een gezellige zithoek met goed trekkende open haard (met genoeg hout op voorraad) en een grote tafel voor 10 personen. De slaapkamers zijn prima. Er is voldoende sanitair. De bedden zijn wat kort voor lange mensen. Het dorp zelf heeft een vriendelijke uitstraling. Het net geopende restaurant Demeure Sauvage is aan te bevelen. De ontvangst door Anne en het afsluiten van ons verblijf met Serge waren erg aangenaam.
