Chalet "Rouge ou Blanc" is a very comfortable and cozy 12-person chalet of 150m2 with 1250m2 big garden around the house. Ideal for both summer and winter sports. The chalet is located at 1550m altitude in the authentic mountain village of Villard Reculas in the heart of Alpe d'Huez Grand Domaine Ski ', one of the best ski and snowboard areas in the French Alps. The chalet is located in the village and has "ski-in / ski-out", so from your chalet you can directly on the skis and you have access to the entire ski area. From the chalet you have a beautiful view of the glaciers and peaks of the Oisans. The chalet is open all year, including holidays in the low season.

Chalet "Rouge ou Blanc" was completely restored in 2016 and redecorated opting for quality, luxury and comfort. The chalet is 150 m2 and all amenities, including free Wi-Fi, flat-screen TV, Apple TV and stereo Bluetooth so you from your ipad or phone can play your own music.

The new spacious modern kitchen designed by a cooking enthusiast and equipped with A ++ kitchen appliances (large fridge freezer, oven, microwave, dishwasher, large induction hob, Nespresso machine, large fine pans). The oval 12 seater dining table is an eye catcher in the kitchen. Of course also a washer and dryer.

The living room has a comfortable sitting area (modern spacious corner sofa and small cozy armchairs) and a modern easy to use wood stove. The firewood can be used for free. The five bedrooms are spacious, stylish and equipped with modern spacious beds, down comforters and bedding Koeka. In total there are 14 beds in the bedrooms and of course no one sleeping in the living room.

The chalet has three good new bathrooms, one with bath and on each floor a separate toilet (in total there are 3 toilets).

One of the five bedrooms is the perfect nursery. This two bedsteads 140cm deep. We are sure that your younger children this is a great place to sleep. There is a cot (including linen Koeka) and 2 IKEA highchairs. These bedsteads can also sleep adults as well.

The chalet has a spacious and warm ski room where you can put your skis and boots and to store your skis and boots. From the ski room you can ski to the lifts and you can easily reach the entire Alpe d'Huez ski resort. Also you can ski back toward the house.

Chalet Rouge ou Blanc (1550 meters) is located directly on the 250 km of ski runs that make up the Alpe d'Huez Grand Domaine Ski, 1300-3330 meters. This vast area is one of Europe's most advanced ski resorts. The Alpe d'Huez Grand Domaine ski is widely loved by skiers because of the good snow conditions, the extensive track network and the high number of hours of sunshine throughout the year. The area includes the ski resorts of o. A. Alpe d'Huez, Auris, Oz, Vaujany and Villard-Reculas.

Villard-Reculas is a small picturesque village located on the southern slope in Alpe d'Huez Grand Domaine Ski. Sensible policies past and present have ensured that the authenticity remains well preserved and that what is being built meets strict requirements: In the village are only chalets there is no high-rise.

Gute Unterkunft zum Skifahren

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Leider war der Kaminofen außer Betrieb was vorher nicht kommuniziert wurde. Des Weiteren ist dann am Ende der Woche auch noch der Geschirrspüler ausgefallen was natürlich für uns mit Mehrarbeit verbunden war. Alles in allem eine gute Unterkunft.

We spend a wonderful week in this lovely chalet. It really is ski in ski out, which was a joy with 4 children to get out the door in the morning. Charming village and locals made for an out and out fantastic weeks holiday.

Très bon séjour dans ce logement bien équipé. L'organisation des lits a été compliqué le jour de l'arrivée car ils étaient tous fait en lit simple alors que l'annonce indique qu'il y a 3 lits doubles 200x200. Sandrine a été très réactive pour résoudre ce problème. Le hors-piste pour accès au ski est réservé aux personnes maîtrisant le sport, pour les débutants ce n'est pas adapté

Heerlijke plek

Wij zijn hier na het fietsen van de Marmotte met een drietal stellen heerlijk bijgekomen. Het uitzicht tussen de bergen is fantastisch en geeft een echt vakantiegevoel. In het dorp zelf is niet veel te beleven maar gelukkig kan je er wel elke dag verse croissants en basisboodschappen halen. Met de skilift naar de top en weer naar beneden wandelen is ook aan te raden. Het huis was top voor ons. We hebben gebruik gemaakt van de pizza oven en de bbq! De lange tafel met het uitzicht is top! We zijn heel benieuwd geworden naar dit huis in de winter en of het echt zo goed te bereiken is met de skies.

Chalet great. Very clean. Very well equipped. Agent was very helpful when we had a power cut. Amazing views from the property. We had a great week cycling in the area. The pizza oven on the decking of the chalet was great fun. Cooked some amazing pizzas Would love to return

Great chalet in a great location

This chalet certainly lives up to all the reviews posted previously having been beautifully restored with every modern convenience incorporated by the new owners - if only other chalets could mirror these standards! There is no question we will be returning to Chalet Rouge ou Blanc very soon.

Châlet spacieux, entièrement rénové, très confortable , alliant ,avec bonheur, modernité et rusticité. Nous avons passé une merveilleuse semaine de vacances. Villard-Reculas est resté un village calme où l'accueil est chaleureux. Idéalement situé, à quelques minutes de l'Alpe d'Huez (si vous osez vous confesser....vous comprendrez sur place)et proche de nombreux endroits à visiter. Nous recommandons particulièrement la vallée de la Bérarde, 27km de route éblouissante et point de départ de randonnées accessibles aux familles avec enfants (nous sommes montés au Chatelleret, vue exceptionnelle sur le sommet de la Meije).Les remontées mécaniques de l'Alpe dHuez et des Deux Alpes permettent d'accéder, sans effort, à la haute montagne...et de se croire, l'espace de quelques heures, de vrais alpinistes ! Pour les plus téméraires, tous les sports extrêmes sont à portée de main. Après l'effort, de délicieux plats vous attendent dans les restaurants.Nous recommandons la Bergerie (à Villard-Reculas) et le Diable au Coeur (restaurant panoramique aux Deux Alpes). A Villard-Reculas, allez à l'épicerie, le propriétaire est plein d'humour. Nous espérons retourner rapidement au Châlet Rouge, peut-être en hiver pour admirer la montagne enneigée.

Chaleur et Compfort: Impecable!

(Nederlands ; zie hierna)D'abord pour les amis français: c’est un chalet formidable pour 12 personnes (14 même ; s'il y a des enfants pas trop grands)! Les propriétaires (Simone et Gerrit) ont très bien réussis d’y en faire un endroit de chaleur, bien décoré, des bons lits, très complet : la cuisine, lave-linge, sèche-linge, plusieurs salles des bains, Wi-Fi, Apple-TV (Netflix!). La région est super pour faire du ski jusqu’ au mois d’avril et après pour monter en vélo ou au pied (Alpe d’Huez, etcetera!). Il n’y a pas de Yeti ou le Discothèque, mais personne ne veux sortir une maison si agréable si tu es assis devant le cheminé (bois) avec ton bon vin ‘Rouge ou Blanc’ et ta musique de ton Play-liste. Finalement : let lits sont très bons ! Matelasses dures, mais : pour la première fois dans très long temps je suis me réveillée sans mal au dos ! Ça, je ne peux même pas dire quand je suis chez moi. En dan nu voor de Nederlandssprekend geïnteresseerden: een absolute aanrader dit chalet voor 12 tot 14 personen. Gerrit en Simone hebben het chalet opgeknapt en ingericht dat het in hun ogen het perfecte vakantie-verblijf is. Warm, comfortabel, zeer compleet. (onder andere meerdere badkamers, compleet uitgeruste keuken, wasmachine èn droger, netflix, houtkachel) In de winter ski-out, ski-in. Kortom: TOP! (hele jaar door overigens: schitterend gebied!)

What a great place!

Chalet Rouge ou Blanc is a home away from home. We stayed here with 3 families for a week of skiing and relaxing. The chalet is roomy and has all of the comforts you have at home (we especially liked the wonderfull kitchen). We loved the big table where we could all sit together and the room with the bedbunks was especially liked by our kids. The direct connection to the ski-in is great, with only a few minutes to the first lift. Also going into town is just matter of walking two turns downhill. All in all we would love to return again to enjoy a holiday in chalet Rouge ou Blanc.

Sfeervol en zeer comfortabel chalet

Een heerlijk verblijf gehad in dit sfeervolle en zeer comfortabele chalet in Villard Reculas, een rustiek Frans bergdorpje op nog geen uur rijden van Grenoble. Het chalet heeft een erg fijne en goed uitgeruste keuken, een prachtige eettafel waar we met z'n allen makkelijk aan konden zitten, lekkere brede bedden met fijne dekbedden en een sfeervol ingerichte woonkamer met houtkachel en dito slaapkamers. Ook het grote skihok en droogrek op de overloop waren erg handig voor alle skispullen. De omgeving is prachtig, ook voor mensen die niet gaan skiën. Een perfecte plek voor meerdere gezinnen met kinderen, mede vanwege de ski-in (en -out), waar de kinderen na de skiles gemakkelijk zelf naar toe kunnen skiën. We komen hier zeker nog een keer terug. Mogelijk ook in de zomer, want ook dan is het hier naar ons idee goed vertoeven.

Beautifully modernised and comfortable!

Only positive feedback this time. The owners visibly put considerable effort into renovating this spacious chalet up to pretty luxurious standards. Modern facilities such as a fully equipped kitchen, relaxing living area and a bath in one of the bathrooms, made some of us want to stay home rather than head out on the slopes. ;) These slopes are by the way pretty much at the doorstep so skiing (and also hiking) in and out of the house is possible. It was my first but certainly not my last visit to this house and this area!

Wow! This chalet has it all

This amzing chalet is freshly decorated and located on the perfect spot for a skiing holiday with family and friends. Plenty of space for everyone and a cute bedroom where the kids loved to sleep. With the open plan fully equipped kitchen, we didn't mind cooking. We spent a lovely week and this is definitely a place to come back to.

Lekker geskied! Luxe en sfeervol ingericht chalet van alle gemakken voorzien: gezellige living met openhaard en vloerverwarming, goed ingerichte keuken, zelfs een wasmachine/droger, wifi, Netflix en wel 3 badkamers! Vanuit de skiruimte van het chalet trek je een lange streep naar de pistes van het "Alpe d'Huez Grand Domaine Ski". Het prachtige gebied is geschikt voor alle niveaus en kent zelfs een zwarte piste van 15 km waar je onderaan heerlijke franse appeltaart met een bolletje vanille ijs kunt eten!

Heerlijk chalet, compleet genieten!

Het chalet heeft een grote tafel om lekker aan te eten of spelletjes te doen. De keuken is meer dan compleet en inclusief Nespresso-apparaat. Fijn borrelen voor een brandend vuurtje in de kachel en relaxen op de grote bank. Lekker slapen onder knisperende dekbedden en alles nieuw, dus ook het sanitair. Met ski in/ski out in 1 minuut op de piste. En dat alles in een schattig dorp, met skiverhuur, winkel voor de dagelijkse benodigdheden en heerlijke fondue, gemaakt door de burgemeester zelf. In de winter zeker een aanrader en voor de wielrenliefhebber ongetwijfeld ook!

We are Simone Brand and Gerrit van Brakel, from the Netherlands. We have bought this chalet to enjoy winter sports and holidays in spring, summer and autumn (because Villard Reculas is lovely in all seasons!) together with our children Isa (9 years) and Ole (6 years) and family and friends.
We enjoy skiing in this great skiing area, hiking, beautiful views, the large number of sunny days, the peace, the beautiful nature, picking blueberries and raspberries in the mountains and all excursions in the area (the pool of Bourg d'Oisans is our children's favourite!). And if the kids are bigger than we will certainly go cycling. We also enjoy this fine home, a place to eat and to be together, cooking in the nice kitchen, or playing a game on the table that was specially designed for this house.
In 2016 we bought this house and completely renovated the inside. In spring 2017 we’ll apply the finishing touches. We’ll then create large terraces around the house. We also dream of a pizza oven, hot tub or Jacuzzi and sauna, and we want to change the exterior; apply more wood and change the colour. We are going to realize all these plans step by step in the coming years.
We will happily rent out the house to you, and hope you will enjoy it as much as we do. We hope that it will be your home for your holiday!

This house is in a unique spot in the heart of the Alpe d'Huez ski area, right on the slopes. The house has a large garden (1250m2). Villard Reculas is a small picturesque village, a really nice place to be and to enjoy each other, the views and the tranquility. We love to spend our holidays here, together with friends and family. Children play well together and the adults enjoy themselves too.
The house has 5 bedrooms, which makes a warm welcome for anyone, anytime. Only 20 minutes away is Bourg d'Oisans, a town with cozy restaurants, a large supermarket and a nice swimming pool with water slides. In the summer you can go hiking, cycling, mountain biking, rafting, to the pool.
