Looking for quiet seclusion? -You just found it! Escape to the Poconos.
"Robins Nest" features an open floor plan, a pellet stove (warm & cozy) and a 7 person hot tub.
This house is beautiful and is well equipped. There are 3 bedrooms, a loft and 2 full bathrooms. The over-sized master bedroom is upstairs has a King bed a walk in closet, a TV and a private bath. Also
upstairs is the loft (den) with a daybed with trundle that sleeps 2 & a futon bed/couch & a tv.
The downstairs main area features an open floor plan, a pellet stove.
in the Living Room, a couch & loveseat & a flat screen TV. The beautiful wood Dining Room table seats 8 and is counter height!
One bedroom has a Queen bed and the other has a bunk bed with a full size futon mattress on the bottom (sleeps 3). All rooms have TVs.

Amazing location, very peaceful stay. It was so nice relaxing on the deck that overlooks the creek. We loved the hot tub too. The location was near plenty of nice trails. Can't wait to come back!

If peace & quiet, (except for the sound of nature and a babbling stream, all while enjoying a relaxing dip in a hot tub) sounds enticing, then this is your next destination! This home is clean, cozy, and relaxing. The host, Valarie, is so sweet and very organized with directions and protocols/procedures for use of the house. You will LOVE your stay here!

Perfect getaway

Had our girls night trip here. Beautiful property. Very clean and nice. The hot tub and fire table were all we wanted and needed. Host was easily reached for the minor issue we had while there. We will book here again

Gorgeous backyard creek

Stayed here for a week for our 25th anniversary. Val was very easy to work with and very responsive. The location was beautiful and the most amazing feature was the gorgeous creek running through the backyard. We really enjoyed all the hiking and biking options.

Lovely Weekend Getaway

We had such a wonderful time here. It is a very comfortable house and so peaceful with the brook in the back which you can see from the hot tub. Valerie is a great host and super helpful!

Great Secluded House!!

Great house to get away and enjoy the scenery. Secluded but close enough to everything the area has to offer. House had everything we needed to enjoy our stay and property owner was very prompt at answering all of our questions. Wouldn't hesitate to rent again.

So relaxing!

The thing we most enjoyed was sitting on the deck and listening to the creek. We got to see four deer on our first afternoon there. The host was very responsive to our requests. We would certainly encourage a stay at this retreat!

Amazing stay !

This was the perfect little getaway location! The pictures don’t do this home justice. The house was so welcoming, comfortable, and cozy. Not to mention we absolutely loved our morning view from the back deck of the beautiful stream right in the yard. It’s in a great location for anyone wanting to go venture out for snow tubing, skiing, etc., although we ended up just staying in and enjoying this place for the days we were there. There are grocery stores nearby and we were able to cook and use the grill! Thank you for an amazing experience Valarie! We hope to come back in October.

Nice Mountain Getaway

Pictures could use updating, but accuracy was not a problem. Disappointing that several of the windows were non-operational, which eliminated cross breeze. A little tough to get down to the creek, but it was still a pleasure to enjoy with morning coffee or after dinner drink. Back deck is the highlight, with a large roofed area as well as an open area. Spent most of our time out there. Did not make use of the community amenities but found tons of trails and ponds to hike around. Other than windows, house was very well maintained and equipped.

huge hot tub relaxing stay in the woods

to say that the photos don't nearly do the house justice. although an older home. it is simply cozy and felt like home in the woods right off the bat. the hot tub is HUGE and lovely. the covered back deck was wonderful so even during the rain it was good to relax in the woods having a soak. the creek in the backyard was beyond picturesque and offered for some sighting of turkey and the occasional deer. towards the end of our stay the local fat raccoon smelled our trash but was actually respectful and didn't make a mess of going though the bin. overall it's a LOVELY place to go and get away, but yet close enough to some local towns and plenty of grocery stores and local pizza joints if you don't feel like cooking.

Great Place To Escape

We've been staying at this property for 5 years. Enough beds for the 10 of us to sleep comfortably. There are Roku's in every room. The kitchen is lovely. We really love the open lay out where everyone feels like they are apart of the action but can also hide away and have their own privacy. The hot tub and back porch are amazing! The pellet stove is lovely and a perfect addition to the cozy house. Valarie is amazing, she's so helpful and lives right next door. There's a nice wooded area between the properties... far enough that our music and late night laughter doesn't bother her but close enough that if we need anything she's right there. I miss this place every time I leave it. We are hoping to come back in the summer or early fall so we can enjoy outside a bit more.

Tranquil

This cozy home was our tranquil getaway for a week. It is spacious with the huge master and onsuite upstairs and 2 bedrooms downstairs. The covered back deck was were the most of our time was spent. The hot tub, gas fire table top and plenty of chairs to enjoy Tom's creek that passed within feet of the back deck and provided a constant soothing sound the whole week. We saw deer in the creek, a mommy phoebe bird, resident squirls chasing around. We love the close proximity of this home to the PA Environmental Education Center (PEEC), with great hiking trails, waterfalls, mountain vistas and a great musuem in the visitor center. Bushkill falls was about 3 miles from this home also but save your $20 admission and go to the free PEEC. We took a canoe ride on the Delaware River rented from nearby Adventure Sports. They pick you up and drop you off. So convienent. We saw eagles, osprey, fish, and turtles. But the vistas of the mountains from the water was the best. This home had everything we counld ask for. 30 min from Interstates 84 and 80, close to hustle and bustle of shops in Stroudsburgh but far enough away to relax from traffic and people. There was nothing we needed and owners live nearby, so communication was easy. This was a great stay for or week of hiking adventures. We'll be back for sure!

Relaxing Trip!

This was my first time to this property. The pictures show very well the property. It was very nice, very clean and had all the amenities we needed. The wood pellet stove was really easy to take care of and provided really nice warmth. The owners had it going and the lights turned on for our arrival. Great large screen T.V. with cable ability and wi fi. Comfortable furniture and the best was the large and clean hot tub on the back deck which was covered by a huge roof providing shade from the weather. The view out back of the mountain was very relaxing as we watched and waited for wildlife to come in. A little hard to initially find due to crazy road construction in the dark, rain and fog so i suggest arriving the first time in the daylight so you can see better but after we figured it out no issue. Also, i would suggest bringing a good frying pan if plan to use one. There were 2 available which I used but sadly i think the non stick coating wore off and it made cooking with them difficult. Outside of that anything you might need seemed to be available. Valerie was extremely helpful and quick to respond with any initial questions we had. There was a lovely welcome gift which was a very nice thought we appreciated as well. Lots of space for families or good just for a couple. I would recommend this property and will stay again.

We decided to buy the house next door when it became available since we have fallen in love with Tom's creek, which runs right in the backyard!

What makes this property unique

It is a quiet, secluded house in a amenity filled, private lake community. I am told that the pictures don't do it justice... The outdoor space is lovely with stringed lights for an enchanting evening soak in the hot tub or a relaxing time around the gas fireplace table.
