Relaxing few days with family. Quiet area of Brown County 300 steps from Story Inn. Easy after hours check in. Reasonable beds, what I would expect for a “rustic” cabin in the woods. Kitchen reasonably appointed. Good firewood supply for both indoor wood fireplace and creekside fire ring.

We were visting the area for a family reunion. This cabin met our needs. We wiuld definitely stay there again if we are in the area. The property was quiet and private.
Location was perfect for a cabin in the woods, and about a 20 minute drive to downtown Nashville. Great spot in the back for a campfire with chairs, and the property goes very deep into the woods, would be great for kids to explore. Beds were a little small to share for two adults, and the place was clean, but not fully deep cleaned. The dishes in the cabinets needed a wash before using, but all in all pretty good!
True to the description. We all enjoyed our stay. I do think a deep clean would be nice (not that it was bad) and maybe some more lighting in the living room.
The house was larger than expected and had more than enough room for the 5 humans and 2 dogs plus cages. My kids loved having more than enough rooms to choose from. We got stuck in the storm with all the rain so we spent most our trip inside playing cards and cooking. The huge kitchen was very nice for that. My kids had a blast and said they’d visit this cabin again!

The place was clean and roomy. I would advise bringing your own towels if you have more than 4 people in your group.

I am so sorry that you ran out of towels. That is something that you could call us if you needed more. Glad you enjoyed your stay and hope to see you in the future.
The house inside was perfect for our family gathering. And the backyard was open and serene. We felt free to roam. And brought wood for a great campfire. Perfect place for us…listened to lots of birds and enjoyed the outdoors.

We are so glad you enjoyed your stay at Storybrook Log Cabin. Please come come back again soon.
Had a family get together over Thanksgiving. The owner provided wood for a real wood fire. We so much enjoyed sitting in the old cabin part of the house after dinner and chatting with family in front of a roaring fire. The kitchen/dining area was spacious and well appointed. It is a short walk to Story, IN and backs up to the state park. We had some nice walks in the woods during our stay. .

We are so glad your family has a wonderful Thanksgiving. We look forward to you booking with us for your next visit.
The purpose of our trip was to enjoy the fall colors in beautiful Brown County with some of our siblings. The Storybrook Log Cabin was the perfect accommodations. We enjoyed exploring, hiking, reminiscing, campfires, and so much more. The cabin location was close to Nashville and Brown County State Park which we enjoyed, yet off of the beaten path which provided us the solitude we were looking for. We have memories that we will carry with us from this trip.
The Story Brook cabin exceeded our expectations. It was immaculately clean and easily accommodated our family of 2 senior adults, 3 young adults, a teen and a child, with gathering spaces and private nooks. Three of the bedrooms have a stair or two leading into the rooms which could be difficult for mobility challenged people. The outside campfire space is beautiful! Thank you to the check in staff and cleaning staff and all who made our stay a delight!
The cabin is roomy and as adults we did not use the television or the living room. The fire pit area is great. My sister and the ghosts met. That was interesting- the lights by the sink flickered often and the doors didn’t want to let you in or out.
Recent storm damage left debris on the property and a broken off limb fell on one of our cars damaging the roof.Parking limited and tree limbs overhang the parking area. Kids picked up ticks in the yard while playing which was probably unavoidable given the wooded location..On the positive side, the accommodations met our needs for a family weekend and the check in process was a breeze. Beautiful spot located just before Story Inn. An unfortunate act of nature put a pall over our stay. In spite of this, I would stay there again.

We are so glad you were able to enjoy your stay in spite of the tree limb and the ticks. We look forward to your booking with us for your next visit.
It was exactly what we expected, and we were thrilled about it! The property is nestled in the woods off a lightly travelled road, and has lots of land to explore. Beautiful accommodation in the heart of Brown County. Spacious master bedroom! Lots of character and charm throughout the cabin. If you want a getaway, this is it! There is cell service, high speed internet, and smart tv’s for streaming so we could still stay connected on the trip. The rental company was very professional. Though we couldn’t check in early, they were helpful to point us to things to do while we waited. The customer service is top notch! All of the information about the cabin was accurate. You know what you’re getting, with no surprises! I highly recommend this agency and this cabin!

Storybrook cabin
Beautiful cabin. Loved the property but it was a little hard to find. The woman I got in touch with was a bit condescending in regard to communication. She stated that directions were in an email but they were actually in a phone message that I did not check because I dont answer numbers I don’t know. However once I got there I was pleased with the property. Would stay there again.

We are very glad you enjoyed your stay. That cabin is such a "happy place" and being next to the Story Inn is certainly a plus. Thank you for staying with us and we look forward to you booking with us for your next visit.
After reviewing various properties on Vrbo, I selected a stay at the Storybrooke cabin. We needed a four bedroom cabin and the description and amenities made it an easy choice. The leasing office gave us very easy directions to find the cabin, which, to our surprise, was even nicer than what we had anticipated. The rooms were spacious and well decorated. The overall feel of the cabin was cozy and warm. The kitchen area was very well equipped and made shared cooking easy. We especially enjoyed the TV area even though our IU team lost to Ohio State. It was very quiet and, beautiful in the surrounding area. It was not far to go to hike in the Brown County State Park. We also made a couple of runs to downtown Nashville. Most of the time we spent in the cabin just talking to each other, playing games and eating it was very relaxing and enjoyable . All of us agreed it was one of our best vacation times ever.

We had a great time. The cabin was a great location and wonderful grounds.
However, there was a sewer smell in the kitchen we couldn’t get rid of.
Other than that it was a great place and would recommend it to others.
