Clean on the inside, could have been a lot cleaner on the back deck and hot tub area, needs more of a stocked kitchen and outside chairs for the back deck hot tub area.
This place is rustic, quaint, well organized, and peaceful. The trees, forest that surround the property are just breathtaking. This was a family vacation, where we could include our furry family too. Everyone had a great time, especially in the hot tub. We had everything we needed, and enjoyed our time together.
This was our first time in Nashville and this was the perfect place to stay. We felt like we were in the middle of nowhere secluded in the woods, but in fact were only a few miles from town. Our dog came with us and had a blast exploring the property. She even met another dog that lived “next door”. We brought wood and used the firepit every night. I love that it’s not too far from the house. The hot tub was clean and easy to use. The property management company were extremely personable and helpful, even called twice before our stay making sure we had all the information we needed. Literally, the only surprise to us was that the two bedrooms upstairs were separated by a door. You had to go through one to get to the other; you had to go through one to get to the bathroom. We’re all such good friends that it didn’t bother us, but it is something to note if you’re not going with incredibly close friends or family. Also, the decor was a bit rustic and outdated, but everything was cozy. The front deck was a great place to have coffee and hang out. We spent a day at Hard Truth Distillery, which was a very short drive. It was just a great stay overall!
It was a great getaway. First night was just us and nature. Second night our friends came and we ate a a steak place then more quiet nature and relaxing at the cabin.
Weekend peace and quiet that we needed. Loved being in nature! Loved the tranquility. All positive except for the hot tub. Wish we could’ve turned down the hot tub heat, it was too hot for us to stay in without being uncomfortable. Still a great getaway!
The stay was nice! We enjoyed the outdoors and being out where it was super peaceful! The only thing that we ran into was the fact that our group had people that were not staying the night and the property management told us that they would still have to "pay their fee" even though they weren't staying the night. We had to meet them in town to avoid paying extra fees. Other than that it was still a good stay.
Overall we had a great mini break. This was the perfect place to see the eclipse. We didn't have to leave the property. The hot tub was great in the evening. It rained in the eve so we couldn't use the firepit but loved having the option. This is a cute comfy cabin. It is dog friendly (lost our girl before the trip) but good to know for next time! The property management company is lovely!
Outside of the cabin the town of Nashville is lovely. Good food and shopping! Great hiking! And lovely antiques stores.

Deep in Woods
This is a nice enough cabin but the directions to get to it were difficult to follow after dark. The map provided was unreadable - even by the staff person who gave it to me. Since there is no street sign for the last turn I don’t understand why the name of the street could not be placed on both sides the mail box - it was on the opposite side of the mailbox which did us no good. The cabin was clean but smelled strongly of smoke. Wish we had been told you had to go thru someone’s bedroom to get to the upstairs bathroom.
Lot was beautiful. Very secluded and green with little creek. However facility is in need of an update and purge of all linens. Everything was tattered and old (but not charming). Mold stains on side of fridge. Check in is 15-min away from property which added 30
Min to Our drive. Ladies at check in are lovely/ but the experience screamed 1984. Told not to use Google Map (which worked fine) and given paper directions. Overall fine - but this is not a 5-star as previously suggested.
Rustic cabin in deep canopy. The inside felt clean, but very dark and smelled strongly of wood smoke. When we arrived at the cabin the power was out from some strong storms that recently came through the area, but by the evening it had been restored by powerline crews. The backyard is fenced in for dogs, which is convenient. There were a few poop presents leftover from previous guest's dogs in the grass.
Overall it was a quiet, slow-paced visit close to Brown County State Part and Nashville restaurants - which is what we were looking for. Watch out for ticks and mosquitoes!
Nice place to stay for the weekend. Close to Nashville. Only downside is no WiFi and no service at the house, but it was nice to be away from technology for a few days. Would come back again!
