A price of heaven

This property was perfect. So peaceful. A nice get away to forget about the coronavirus and a relaxing place.

While the house itself was comfortable, we were very disappointed by the overall condition of the outdoor space, while we understand its in a wooded area, the porch, deck and patio were dirty and unkept, I swept up several areas to make it decent. The patio furniture could use some updating. Beyond the immediate grounds area we saw several areas with poison ivy, so while the home sits on 9 acres, we weren't able to enjoy it. For the price, we expected much more. The hot tub did not look inviting and the area around it was also dirty. Unfortunately we encountered several issues with ticks while we were there and are convinced they were not only outside but inside the home as well, but unfortunately the host denies any issue. My daughter was bit 3 times in less than 24 hours upon our arrival and spent little to no time outside, three more members of our family had issues as well as our pet, who never left the property nor went beyond the mowed areas of the land. Our time away was unfortunately spent worrying and checking for ticks, so it was not enjoyable, we've stayed in Brown County before and never experienced anything like this. I am not one to leave a bad review, but I am overly disappointed in the stay and the lack of accountability here, I guess we should have left immediately, shame on us.
