The condo was great pools were great , The bad was , only 1 garbage bag , half a roll of paper towels, had 4 bathrooms with only roll of toilet paper, with price I paid theses things should be available, we stayed 4 days , was told we had to buy all these things, but wanted us to take out garbage but buy our own bags

Lovely stay at Caribe

Girls Trip to Orange Beach ~ May 2021 4.5 Stars. Overall a great trip & lovely place. Everything is as pictured. Clean, quiet & accessible to beach, grocery stores & restaurants. The resort was great too. Gated entrance, 1 designated parking space & 1 additional open space was perfect. Enjoyed the pool, Cobalt & overall resort amenities. The only speed bumps that we noticed are as follows: ~ The resort just completed a room key entry/access overall on the resort & none of our keys worked. It took about 30-40 mins to get our room unlocked & new keys. ~ The master bathroom shower has jets, a shower head & a hand held shower wand...but no instructions. Upon turning on the shower the jets sprayed you standing at the shower door. Several times I got wet & the bathroom floor too. Needs instructions & warnings! ~ No instructions for the garbage disposal. Never found the switch. Front desk didn't know either. ~ Some power outlets in the guest bedrooms did not work. ~ The sofas showed wear & tear. We ended up covering them with the sheets for the pull out bed & sat on them. Again...MINOR issues that did not deter us from enjoying our stay. We had a great time & have already suggested this space to friends & family. I'm definitely returning!

Not ideal for beach goers

Pro: Big, accommodating, and clean space. Plenty of room and sleeping options. The many different pools and slides on the property are really nice. Great for kids who prefer pools over the beach. The balcony has plenty of seating Con: The beach is a hassle to get to. It can take up to an hour just to get there - even with the trolley. Running back to the room for lunch or to escape an afternoon rain is out of the question. The room’s view faces the parking lot and garbage bins. The mornings on the balcony were full of loud garbage collection and awful smells. The balcony can be easily accessed from the splash pad; so be sure to lock the 3 balcony doors at night. Kids we didn’t know were crossing back and forth between our balcony and the splash pad. A few minor maintenance issues like broken master toilet, master sink, faulty outlet, and bedroom door that wouldn’t close properly or lock. We’ve always heard great things about The Caribe from friends, but it’s just not for us. We’re beach people

Caribe resort 215

The unit was clean and decorated nicely. The kitchen, dining room, and living room was extremely spacious, more than enough room for all of us to congregate and socialize. The wrap around balcony was a plus and good so that we could separate and have different conversations. The one down side was the atrium was extremely hot.
