I stayed at Staybridge Suites Odessa and had several issues that really impacted the trip. The elevator was down for my entire stay, and I had to move rooms on the second night because a fire strobe went off in my original room. The first room had stains on the couch, and the two‑bedroom suite I was moved to didn’t have TVs in either bedroom and didn’t include desks. The pool was closed and dirty, and the water in the room only ran hot.On the positive side, the staff were great — friendly and helpful — and breakfast and the evening social were both very good. The people were the best part of the stay, but the property itself needs major maintenance and attention.
