Location was lovely. Bathrooms and bedrooms clean. The listing says it includes bunkhouse, but it doesn’t. The dishes were dirty when we arrived. Overall though, good place and we would stay there again.
We enjoyed the cabin . The gas grill was broje when we arrived . Called after hours number to advise . They brought out a replacement grill the next day. Canoe was very tippy, but the paddle boat was nice .
Would recommend! Plenty of parking and dock space for boats.

Nice northwoods getaway
Overall our stay here was very enjoyable. A comfortable, quiet spot on a beautiful lake which is what we were looking for. Plenty of space and modern amenities. Fishing from the dock was fun and kayaks were great. Eagle and loon watching was amazing. We did not - and would not - swim here…no easy way to get into/out of the water and lots of algae and dead fish.
Would recommend with a few things you should know:
-Communication with this management company was non-existent. Multiple questions went unanswered before our stay. Other than robo-messages about payments and with the door code, silence.
-Dishes, pans, silverware, cooking utensils were not clean. Granted guests are asked to wash their own dishes so this would vary, but the cleaning crew should at least check on things. There were even coffee dregs in the pot. Yuck. The beds and baths were fresh and clean thankfully.
-Smoke detector in the main area had no batteries - we could tell because the little door was hanging open.
These aren’t huge things, but I do think guests should expect better, especially around no one answering questions about an upcoming stay. The property is nice, the management leaves something to be desired.
We stayed here with our family to celebrate my moms retirement. Such a great property, enjoyed our stay. We had an incident with some storm damage. The property management came out and fixed the problem right away. They even sent out someone to check to see if the problem was fixed. We had a group of 12 and we all enjoyed our stay and said we would book again.

Comfortable cabin
The cabin was very comfortable for the 5 of us. Mostly queen and double beds. Good amenities and updates to the cabin. The paddleboat takes on water, so can't be used.
The only real complaint we have was the dock. way to high out of the water and hard to tie a boat to without scratching it all up. we had to go buy more buoys to save the boats. This year we did not use the bunk room over the garage but have in the past. gives a lot of extra sleeping room.
The location is beautiful. There is a stunning view of High Lake from the deck and the kitchen/living room. We liked the two wooden swings that overlook the water as well. The separate bunk room is perfect for teenagers and kids. One thing to know is that the smallest bedroom adjoins the largest bedroom so you have to walk through it to get to the half bath and largest bedroom. If you are looking for a place to work while you are away, the desk in the large bedroom is a quiet place to work. The wifi was strong, although it cut out several times but then would come back on quickly. If you want a serene location, this fits the bill. Great fishing too!
House was great, the only thing i did not realize from the posting was the 4th bedroom was a loft above the garage seperate from the house. Excellent fishing, would have been nice to have a sandy beach down by the dock. We made the best of it and had a peaceful, relaxing 4 day stay.
