Charming one level 1940's stone cottage in the heart of Northern Virginia. Cozy and warm and only 20 minutes out of our nation's capital. Large yard for kids and outside entertaining. Outdoor amenities include two patio seating areas, a fire-pit, and a gas grill. Inside there is a gourmet kitchen, two fireplaces and a beautifully decorated living area. .

Very nice house with all the amenities you need with easy access to dining and public transportation. Only drawback is the fireplace in livingroom is not available to use. Overall we were very satisfied with accommondations.

The property was perfect, had a beautiful fenced in yard for my daughter’s service dog. We needed wheelchair access and I was able to use a side entrance and lift her chair into the house. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes, pots n pans, comfortable n cozy living room, and the master bedroom n bath is wonderful!! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would stay again if we’re in the area.

DC wedding

Property was perfect for the 5 of us. Location was perfect, only minutes from family. Master bedroom and bath were fabulous. Back yard was gorgeous but it was 100 degrees so we didn't get to enjoy it.

Great place to stay outside the city

We enjoyed our stay in the cottage. Easy access to metro station to get around the city. We came for the Marine Corp Marathon. This cottage made our stay easy and comfortable! We would definitely recommend.

Washington Fall Trip

This home is by far the cleanest VRBO we have ever stayed in anywhere and well situated to travel via any type of transportation to DC for any and all sightseeing. Quiet area, comfortable and great kitchen. Also very comfortable beds. We would most definitely stay here again and recommend this home to friends. The owner communicates well Thank you Drew!

Perfect place for what we needed

My wife and a small group of friends stayed here over a weekend. I can’t say enough good things about this property. The house is beautiful and is in a good neighborhood. The patio and backyard area take it over the top. The host was very communicative. We made a great decision to stay here.

Great Place to Stay While Visiting DC

This home is a great place to stay! It’s a great neighborhood. Not only is the house spacious and the backyard is too! The kitchen has lots of room if you like to cook. The master bedroom and bathroom are great if you don’t travel light, like me. The bed will n the master is soft and comfy! Overall, this place gets 5 stars from me!

Family visit

The house is beautiful. The host was really responsive and has stocked all the basics. It was perfect for our family visit. The backyard is fully fenced in and huge! Beautiful setting. We would definitely return.

We enjoyed our stay so much! The house was very clean. I'm OCD and I did not feel like I had to clean anything when we arrived. The yard was so pretty. Our little dog loved running and watching squirrels. After a day of sightseeing, it was so nice to come back to the house and relax on back patio. Felt like I was in the country. Very close to everything. We would definitely stay here again. The house looks so much better in person. This property deserves more than 5 stars.

Fantastic family location

Traveling the east coast with my family of 5 and wanted to visit DC for a few days but commute from a safe neighborhood outside the city. This perfectly fit our needs. It was only about 20-25 minutes to the National Mall using non toll roads. There was plenty of space for everyone to be comfortable. The yard space was much larger than I would have thought from the pictures. Made for a great space for the children to chase firefly’s in the evening when we were back at the house. The home was very well stocked with everything you need for cooking, showering and plenty of toilet paper and paper towels which in my experiences is above and beyond the average. Beds were very comfortable, house was clean and we have no complaints at all. The host immediately responded when I did have one question. Made me aware when the landscapers were coming. Definitely would utilize this house again in a few years when we visit the area again.

Special family get together

The house is beautiful and on a really big lot with excellent backyard potential We were only there for two nights and they may have been the hottest of the entire year being in the high 90s and reaching 100° one day So we were not able to enjoy a whole lot of outdoor activities The cushions that go on the patio furniture were very stinky There was an ongoing issue with the AC Nest system. Was in contact with host a few times to request adjustment of thermostat Temperature in house finally cooled in the early morning hours of the day we left Host had two small fans delivered to the house, a very thoughtful gesture but size of the fans were just so small they didn't quite make the difference we needed Overall rating is 4 out of 5 stars because of how pretty the house is and stocked very well with everything you would need Three things to consider: possible AC difficulty, the bed in the master is like sleeping in a hammock, sunken in the center, and the outdoor cushions are quite stinky... But if it's almost 100° who's hanging outside anyway! Lol We enjoyed our time there and would rent again in the future providing AC and bed were fixed ❤️

This home is very cozy, fully stocked and very very clean. The kitchen was amazing and we enjoyed a gathering of cousins that lived nearby in the beautiful lite back yard and had everything we needed for serving seven family members. We had a wonderful stay and our small dog was so happy with all the fenced in area. My only regret is that we didn’t stay long enough. The host was easy to contact and very helpful. This is a great choice!

Lovely place. Very conformable beds and well equiped (except for ice or icetrays). Struggled a bit with lightswitchs, fans, and couldn't get local TV stations. Only disappointment was that we were too busy seeing DC sites that we didn't get to enjoy the outdoor space because it was amazing!

We had a nice 4-day weekend stay there & the property was as described matching the photos and description very well. We had a mechanical issue during our stay, and the owners were fast to respond and did everything they could to resolve the issue. It was resolved in 24 hours on a weekend so it's all I could ask of them. It was about a 25-minute drive to the museums in D.C and in Chantilly, so the location was perfect.

We loved this great cottage!

Clean, convenient, incredibly well stocked. This house had a very cozy neighborhood vibe but was extremely close to the highway which made travel to Tyson's corner and DC pretty easy. The hosts were excellent and we would happily stay here again soon.
