A very charming typical 18 century provencal house all renovated by local artist whith authentic ancient material .the house is decorated whith a mix of our art and antic furniture, no Ikea! plenty of books on the region to help you .you can visit our studio in st saturnin during your stay,my husband is a painter and i make paper. this house is a, our nest in the heart of the park of the luberon close to all other pitoresque villages ,5mn away from roussillon .beautifull walks from home .offering a peaceful, southern French countryside way of life.a close garden offering lovely natural shade in the summer , whith no visĂ vis , a small pool to freshen up ,a sun roof terrasse whith a view on nature,lots of tables and chairs outside ,a bbq
very romantic and cosy ,private parking ,pets welcom but not in the splash pool.

Charming!

My husband and I stayed here for two weeks in summer 2018. We loved the authentic Provencal architecture and decorative elements. The house was not only charming, but also very functional. The kitchen was well equipped, and we cooked most of our meals at home, and ate in the pretty front courtyard. The splash pool was a life saver during the heat wave. A very comfortable and charming house--wish I could have lingered longer!

Delightfully French

A lovely authentic french home. Clean and well kept the property is very comfortable for a number of people. We were two and did not fully use all of the amenities. The walled garden provided a cool relief from the mid-day sun. The home is warmly decorated and includes a dishwasher, and lots of art. We made day trips to all of the beaux villages because it was centrally located. A great place for hiking and bike riding. Accessible restaurants shopping and local markets. We would love to come again.

A comfortable base in Provence

The property, which is near Gargas rather than Joucas, is a comfortable base from which to visit many of the well- known hill towns, such as Gordes, Roussillon, Bonnieux, Goult and Saignon. Slightly further afield are the charming towns of Isle- sur- la - Sorgue and Lourmarin. There are well- stocked supermarkets in Apt and Coustellet ( which also has a good small bakery) and weekly markets in many of the nearby towns. The house has a well- equipped kitchen for those who wish to eat in, and for those who would like to eat out but close by, there is an attractive hotel within walking distance, where dinner is served in a courtyard under the trees. The hotel is called Mas de la Tour, and you must book for dinner by lunchtime. The splash pool is a welcome retreat in hot weather, and the shady trees in the front garden help to keep the area cool. The owners are a charming couple, who know the area very well and are happy to advise on places to visit, restaurants, markets and other matters of interest.

Un séjour agréable

Idéalement située pour (re)découvrir cette belle région et ses beaux villages, cette vieille demeure pleine de charme est bien équipée et joliment décorée. Son petit jardin clÎturé et son bassin sont trÚs appréciables par grosses chaleurs. Nous avons passé une agréable semaine avec nos 2 amis à quatre pattes. Je recommande pour des vacances au calme.

Unser Aufenthalt in der NĂ€he von Roussilion

Wir haben das Haus fĂŒr 5 NĂ€chte gebucht und haben uns dort sehr wohl gefĂŒhlt. Es handelt sich um ein altes sehr liebevoll restauriertes Haus in einem sehr ruhigen Ort, nur wenige Kilometer von Roussilion entfern. Die Besitzer haben es sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Alte GebrauchsgegenstĂ€nde, Objekte und Bilder sind liebevoll in den RĂ€umen platziert. Man hat eine eigenen Hof, in dem man gut entspannen kann. Die Lage des Objektes ist hervorragend, von hier aus kann man alle Ziele im Luberon sehr gut erreichen. Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit. Vielen Dank!

Sfeervol huis met een privé tuin en klein buitenbad

We hebben een heerlijke week gehad. Fijne tuin om te ontbijten en heel sfeervol huis. Een goed ankerpunt om de Vaucluse te verkennen. Zeker voor herhaling vatbaar. Een tip: insecten horren en een steun (in sfeer van het huis) voor opstap naar badkamer

Belle maison trÚs bien située pour visiter le Luberon

Nous avons bien apprĂ©ciĂ© cette maison ancienne dont les murs Ă©pais permettent de vivre au frais malgrĂ© de fortes chaleurs. La petite cour extĂ©rieure est trĂšs agrĂ©able, le bassin plus que vivifiant ! La maison est entre Apt et Roussillon, elle est bien placĂ©e pour accĂ©der Ă  de nombreux sites et villages d'intĂ©rĂȘt. Ruhiges Haus in perfekter Lage

Lovely stay on the countryside

We loved our stay. It was peaceful and relaxing. A small garden shaded by trees and a beautifully designed splash pool. You will probably need a car to go shopping and visit the magnificent villages of the Luberon and restaurants. Private parking just outside the property.

Super séjour

Nous avons passé une trÚs belle semaine. La maison est trÚs agréable malgré les fortes chaleurs que nous avons eu pendant le séjour, la petite piscine à été trÚs appréciés . La position centrale pour découvrir le libérons est idéal. La proximité du magnifique village de Roussillon est également un réel +. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir.

Schönes Ferienhaus in lÀndlicher Umgebung

Wir haben unseren zweiwöchigen Urlaub im charmanten Ferienhaus sehr genossen. Es war alles vorhanden, was man sich wĂŒnscht und benötigt. Die Vermieter waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Der nicht einsehbare Innenhof ist etwas schattig, was im Hochsommer bestimmt sehr willkommen ist. Im kleinen Pool kann man sich an heißen Tagen schön erfrischen. Der nĂ€chste BĂ€cker ist rund 10 Min. entfernt in Roussillon. Richtung Apt gibt es einen Bio-Supermarkt und in Apt befinden sich viele Einkaufsmöglichkeiten inkl. einem großen, schönen Markt.

Very nice house

Good spacious solid built house with thick walls so cool in summer. All amenities very good. Slightly shady garden so sunbathing short period. Nice plunge pool. Could have extra covers on beds if it gets cold at night. Good internet. Very nice all round.

we both fell in love whith this charming house ,autentic
and so tipycal provençale,hard to find those days
it's very well located ,very cosy full of art ,both of our parents are antic dealers
very large bedroom highcelling and the best bed ,so important i think not to have a bad back when you wake up

What makes this property unique

the garden ofer shade and sun ,and the small pool is a real delight to have a dip ,it has large stairs inside ideal for small kids to play and for adults to sit in whith a fresch glass of wine
also the sun roof terrasse ,offer a great vue
