The Berkshires has always been 'my happy place'. I have been coming for years for a week or two every summer with my friends and my kids. There is just so much to do in this area!
In the Summer, you can be mellow, hang out in the sun on the dock, swim, fish, kayak, canoe, hike, bike, go to the various theaters, tanglewood, jacobs pillow modern dance performances, visit many museums (Mass Moca, The Clark, The Norman Rockwell Museum to name just a few), outdoor sculpture parks, tour historic homes, attend the Shakespeare Festival, browse the craft shows, shop the Outlets, wander the Great Barrington farmer's market.....ETC!!!!
& In the Fall you can view the foliage, hike kayak, In the Winter you can ski, & In the Spring you can hike amongst the blossoming trees & wildflowers
The many local restaurants are amazing & museums are open year round!
Stay at my place and love The Berkshires too!

Why they chose this property
This property is totally unique! It is a 1 house peninsula jutting out into Mill pond. The moment you arrive you will magically feel a sense of calm wash over you. You feel as if you are on a yacht because water & wild life surround you. The house has windows everywhere and even when you are inside you feel as if you are outside! Herons, eagles, geese, ducks, beavers, turtles, fish, finches, wood peckers abound! It is on 2 wooded private acres that are fenced in. The house is down a long gated driveway. It has recently been remodeled & now redecorated by me. It comes with bikes, kayaks, a canoe, fire pit, a deck, lawn chairs, outdoor grill, fully equipped kitchen, washer/dryer---EVERYTHING you'll need for an enchanting vacation!
