Lazy Maple Cabin on Charleston Lake
Introducing The Lazy Maple, our most private cabin, perfect for guests who enjoy their own space and the tranquility of nature. This charming, rustic cabin features a rough-sawn pine interior, three bedrooms with a total of four beds, and a spacious deck nestled under mature maple trees, offering a stunning view of the lake.
Our guests enjoy shared use of kayaks, and SUPs (stand up paddle boards) during their stay. Fishermen are welcome to enjoy our fishing kayak.
Boat/trailer parking is available for guests with their own boats pending availability. Please contact us prior to booking to confirm availability as dock space is limited. Boats are launched just down the road (3min drive) at the public boat launch on Burma lane, and guest boats are docked at our east dock. Trailer parking is located on site in our designated trailer parking area.
Bed linens are provided. Guests will need to bring their own towels.
A portable air conditioning unit, fans, warm blankets and heaters are provided for your comfort. However, please note that this is a centuries-old seasonal cabin and extreme temperatures will be felt.
Pets are welcome, but must be registered and paid for at the time of booking.
You will be contacted via Charleston Lakeside Retreat’s secure reservation system to provide your credit card for a $350 damage/incidental deposit hold, guest details, ID and rental agreement signature. This information is required at the time of booking. Incomplete reservations are subject to cancelation.
