About this property
WINTER = Snow/Ski. SPRING-SUMMER-FALL = Fish, Hike, Explore, Private Lake
ABOVE THE CLOUDS @ an approx elevation near 7,000 ft. nestled in a small town with a trout-stocked lake, located in between Big Bear and Lake Arrowhead. A classy choice with all the comforts of home!
* If you are looking for an amazing get-away – be it a few nights or a few weeks, consider this a top choice as it has all of the elegance and amenities for a luxurious stay and all the conveniences of home.
* The décor is 5-star. Nestle into bedding you will not want to get out of with mattress pads and dual-station electric warming blanket. Relax on the front porch with a book and a glass of wine. Dine at the table formally or bar-stool-it around the large center island and visit while “someone else” cooks. The spice cabinet is well-stocked. Dishwasher, Pot Belly Stove, Forced Air Heat, Fans in every room, Generac Generator, Puzzles, Games, Office Desk in the loft, 50” Flat-screen TV, Free WiFi, Cable, a Piano and more.
* Spend the day at the LAKE Beach, Fishing (stocked), or Boat Rentals. Hike. Explore the mountain and eateries. In the snowy months, SKI nearby at Snow Valley or Big Bear. Lake? Many hiking trails and off-road areas. In the summer, walks around the lake, non motorized boat rentals, trout-stocked lake for fishing, beach activities, Farmer’s Market in Running Springs, and Restaurants and Pubs. In the winter, sledding & skiing with Snow Valley just minutes away, and Big Bear approximately 16 miles away, hot chocolate while watching the snow fall.
* Provided for your stay and convenience: bedding, bath towels, hair dryer, body and hair soap + make-up towels, fully stocked kitchen (dishes/cookware), appliances and sub-appliances. Plus a reasonable supply of TP, PT, dish soap and kitchen trash bags.
* Adult and very-well-behaved-kid friendly. As much as I love them, NO pets, due to accidental situations and allergies of guests. It's definitely a pride of ownership property open to pride of use guests.
A HIDDEN GEM with cabins that sit at the highest elevation in the SB National Forest at 7,000 ft (approx.1/2 hr from Big Bear, and even closer to Snow Valley) with its own resort lake that, while private, is open to the public/guests for swimming (fee) end May to October.
The cabin is sanitized between stays. Please bring your own masks and other personal protective wear based on preference and current guidelines at time of stay. If you are new to higher elevation, my suggestion would be to hydrate well before arriving.
It's so pretty and relaxing in Green Valley Lake!

About the host
Hosted by Kelly G.

Hello! All I can say is that I bought this cabin because it has such a good feel, it's 3/10 a mile from the lake but set back so you don't have to hear everyone's band or party going on if you choose not to. I live there 1/2 the time, so it's stocked with quality and I really want conscientious guests who will care for it as if it were their own. A big cabin that's in the top of the choices at this nightly rate?! Who knew!!
Why they chose this property
Many neighbors photograph our cabin because it sits so prominent and is so beautiful. It has all of the perfect touches. I really like guests who want to get away and enjoy their vacation, who also take great pride in caring for someone else's property. I've had GREAT guests!!
