History is all about this cottage house built in 1951. The home has been in a local Carlsbad family for over 70 years. Nestled within a half mile from the Carlsbad's Village/Restaurants and 1.1 mile walk or car/bike ride direct to beach access.
Corner lot with 1/3 acre of outdoor yard, private BBQ/Patio and sitting areas. Room for RV parking. Bikes for a quick run to the local market, restaurants or the beach. Zoning requires minimim monthly rentals. Completely fenced back yard. Pets allowed.

Why they chose this property

Carlsbad is a coastal community in the North County area of San Diego, California, United States. The city is 80+ miles south of Los Angeles and 35 miles north of San Diego, CA. Carlsbad is a tourist destination with a semi-arid Mediterranean climate. The sun shines an average of 260 days per year! The seaside cliffs lead to wide white-sandy beaches. The mild climate attracts vacationers from all over the world year-round.

What makes this property unique

The Williams Cottage is in the Northwest section of Carlsbad and walking distance to the downtown Village, Olde Carlsbad and nearby beach access. This area was the first part of Carlsbad to be settled in the 1880s. The cottage was built by one of the off springs of the first 70 families to settle in Carlsbad in the 1880s and where many 1950s cottages and bungalows still exist today.
